Returning to SoD

Hey guys, I wanted to ask if it’s too late to return to SoD?

I stopped at first phase (my mage is like lvl 20, I think that was the max lvl bk then), would it be too late to catch up to the runes and gearing?

SoD provides quite a few catch-up mechanics. You will be able to reach lvl 60 much faster than you would in Vanilla. Getting all the necessary runes should not be a problem at lvl 60 and will take a few hours in total.

Then you will obtain decent gear in a couple of lockouts, especially if you find a guild that still clears older raids for their alts. In fact, if you start right now you will probably be in good shape for Ahn’Qiraj when it releases.

Not worth to return… We got no new content, just repackaged Vanilla + SoM stuff, no new raid, no new zone, nothing.
Just relax, enjoy something else and wait for Classic plus. Turtle is a good option, they had a major update recently.

Hmm. Which new zone do you wish to being implemented into SoD?

I think you should and trye it out to playe all the new ways you can in SoD.
Did you trye to heal? It’s also fun to trye old raids out in a new way.
But remember playe what you like best and just go for it.

Low handing fruit tier: Hyjal. Even a dev/communication disaster of a pserver with 1k ATH players like Duskhaven had some content there.

Teased tier:
Where is my teased Karazan Crypts, where is my teased Scarlet Crusade zone/raid?

Way above what a small indie multi dollar company can make tier: Look at Turtle or look at Azeroth zones in TBC/Cata Gilneas, Hyjal, Tirisfal Highlands, Uldum, Ghostlands, Quel’Thalas, Grim Batol. ZG islands and more.

Classic PLUS tier: Kul’Tiras, Zandalar, things that we saw on a map or were core of the Warcraft 1, 2 and 3 storyline. And I don’t mean Kul’Tiras like in BFA. I mean as it should be from Warcraft 2 and 3 maps, of the coast of Gilneas/Wetlands, as part of Eastern Kingdom.

Yeah man, it’s worth it… And you lvl up really quick. Im lvling a Paladin atm, and I’m lvl 33 in 10 hours played lol. You can get to 60 really fast. Im having a blast :wink: Come join us!!
