Just curious, what do you need to buy gold for? Are your repair bills out of hand? Are you addicted to anchor weed? I don’t get why people “need” gold in massive quantities.
You certainly don’t run faster through raids and dungeons.

I’m not a heavy Gold Farmer… but I like to know that I’ve made enough to pay for my next months WoW game time.
edit I have also only recently realised that you can pay for in-game services with Wowtokens as well, so some of those Pets and Mounts look quite nice. Better than spending RL money (when, mine at least).

level 20 got gray items from random mods what sells to vendor 8 gold and armor whats sells for 26 gold 
Instead to ban thye Goldfarmer bots in dungeons, they punish us instead :-(…

What do people buy anyway that makes you need so much gold? I just spend it on mandatory flask, pots and food. Haven’t bothered with any profession to make gear, maybe this changes in SL.
I always get enchanting, so I can DE while doing raids/dungeons, and either alchecmy/herbalism to dampen the cost of flask (2hr duration) or farm some herbs myself.
I mean, it’s not like I’ve ever had the need to buy gold no matter how lazy I’ve been, and I’ve never boosted either

Hellfire Citidel used to give around 10k if you did it on all difficulties, which doing it on 10 char gives you 100k, doing it in 2 weeks you have enough at least for WoW token.
Now you would have to do 4 weeks of farming for WoW Token…

oh, yes I never buy wow token, not a chance in *** I have time to do that even before the nerf. When I first log on I do dungeons/raids and the the weekly stuff that is mandatory to stay relevant in game. I just don’t have more time for wow then this
Understandable, but that’s your view. I had enough time to farm WoW Token before, and since I love collecting mounts I always had a chance of getting the mythic legacy raid mount! ^^
I was counting on the wow token to fall in price as a result of this, with the new expansion around the corner price went up, hopefully it will balance itself out once the hype dies down again
TBH, it will have to, if it truly is supply/demand controlled. But knowing Blizzard… they could easily set the floor price and control the supply by printing more wow tokens
It might slow down botters but it will not stop them.

It’s a big leap to say you wanna buy subscription, to you actually buying gold. But I get it, this is for guys that don’t wanna pay for sub, but grind the sub.
‘+’ once we all hit 60 and start grinding Legion raids it will be more raw gold
Who nose, maybe Shadowlands raw gold grinding will be more viable
at the start of the expac it for sure will
in the current state at 60, soloing legion raids is harder compared to right now.

I mean yeah, without corruptions at 60 (and then later azerite gear) you would do it slower, but with lvl 60 shadowlands systems you’d be looking at significantly faster solo time specially later in the expansion

The gold mobs drop, and the gold items vendor for are all tied to the mob / item level. It’s all due to the squish. There was not explicit gold nerf.

Yep, and when you farm flowers to make pots and flasks they will send you their multiboxers to deplete nodes before you even have the change to farm them.
