NEVER EVER said i support RMT, i encourage everyone i talk to to report bots and NOT to buy gold. But banning GDKP is remedying the symptoms instead of going after the disease curing it.

Pugs are also anti Guild, antisocial. Its empty words tbh. The content is so easy you dont need guilds. A lot of players dont want to talk with strangers, we just want to play the game and have progress, if we want to. You can have social athmosphere, just look for a guild. Why you decide what is social?

Buyers are OFTEN , not always people with more than one char that just leveled a new alt to current max level that dont want to go thru the hassle of getting full pre-bis to join a raid that can be done in half sleep with naked characters.

GDKPs is the root cause of this whole issue
proof:
look at WoW(outside china they did GDKP very early) before GDKP became a main thing to do
botting was rare becuase not the demand on Gold created by GDKPs
gold per $ was more expansive becuase not as many botters/gold sellers aswell as not as many who was buying gold
and them who was buying gold was like a 1-2 times thing for get a 1 time gold boost for like buying the epic mount and that was about it
not like buying a piece of gear per week per GDKP run back when
and this was when WoW had peak player base numbers so you would think there was botters to take care of those gold buyers with peak player base yet
never seeing much botting back when
and now look at today is a whole different story

So i should stop posting stuff on AH too then? The person buying my item on AH could have been buying his gold from 3.rd party site aswell… Where is the logic? Wouldnt AH be a problem too then?

Sorry but that is naive, there is a good reason why organized gdkp hosters are sitting on literally thousands of gold at a level cap of 25.
And it’s not from quest gold with those amounts I can tell you that after leveling 5 alts and doing every quest I could for gold.
GDKP defenders ALWAYS go back to “but then Auction house is as bad”
auction house has being there since launch of the game
botting issue has not being this bad since launch of the game
GDKPs is a thing that became a main thing when classic vanilla to wotlk came
not when retail was Vanilla to WOTLK (atleast in the west)
can clearly see the difference there

First not every BoE is replaced by a raid item. And when they are not BIS they can be still be Pre Raid BiS and useful. Just look at current prices for them, its not a waste.
I agree that there is less control in auction house to avoid RMT. But this is a symptom, ah users participate also in rmt indirectly that was my argument. We need to address the root cause not symptoms.
That naked chars can be carried, is not the problem from GDKP. Its because, easy content makes it possible. And if the gold wouldnt come from RMT, it wouldnt be a problem.
Blizzard said they will bann GDKP participants, why they dont bann bots and gold sellers/buyers, especially sellers/buyers, should be easy too, then. Ah the subscriptions… I forgot about that.
honestly at this point people should just stop trying to defend GDKP’s, its pointless,
there are plenty of videos on youtube explaining the relationship between RMT, bots and gdkp’s.

You call that proof ? RMT / goldbuyers just prove that people are lazy, too lazy to go out and farm stuff to sell on the AH themselves. And you know why? Because prices on AH is ROCK bottom on everything u can farm , ore, herbs, fish, leather’s etc… Why ? Because of botting…
Get rid of bots , and the prices will rise again, and people CAN actutally make money on farming those ores, herbs and skinning again…
I do agree that Botting and RMT /gold sell/buy is bad for the game and i dont want it… But banning GDKP will not stop people from RMT’ing.
Like i said people are lazy, they dont want to farm gold, people have been RMT’ing long before GDKP was a common thing.

And because it’s so easy you need GDKP?thought mmos are made to be social experiences, if you want to circumvent that fine, but why do it in a manner that’s hurtful to the game? We all know it is, we have examples of it happening across both US and EU servers across both ERA and WoTLK. What other evidence do you need?
in phase 1 as i legit said yeah some BOE is just raid BIS
but in later phases : mainly lvl 60 ones
they not anymore non BIS is a BOE at lvl 60
idk about lvl 40/50 phases yet but even there it seems alot of BIS or even Pre raid BIS is just BOP even BFD loot is preraid BIS for lvl 40 it seems
Finding the right guild for you is something that might take time, but is definitely worth it.
Then find another guild with a loot distribution system that suits you. MS / OS with prio for mains perhaps, or maybe softres. There are many guilds that handle loot in many different ways.
Having played in a guild since the release of classic I have never been forced to prioritize raiding over IRL. Some guilds are more strict with attendance, some less so. Find one that suits you. Moreover, in SoD there is far more flexibility on this point than in any other version of the game, given the short lockouts and laughably easy content.

you do know botters sell theirs materials to vendors right
becuase it is the must effective way to not get detected
there has being interviews with gold sellers and heavy botters
so the prices rises Becuase of the botters becuase they take all the resources and making them more rare 100% then it is mining and herb and even more if they using teleport hack to each mining/herb node
They do and post numbers on it as well, it’s not just gdkp that are being addressed in the P2 preview, you also have the part where they mention more action against exploitative accounts, aka gold buyers and botters.
I find it really strange that everytime this comes up it’s always go after the providers not the buyers, that’s not how things work with anything.
