Reverted changes in Dragon Soul

Why?

Last week the Spine was simple and now I have to take off most my gear again because I just seem to spam AOE without pressing anything. Used to be 1 blood caused the elemental to overload but now its back to managing and carefully hitting bloods while not AOE’ing, and moving constantly left and right.

Ultraxion, the dragons before he spawns were 5, now they’re back to being 10.

Any explanation for this change? Were people getting the mounts too fast or something?

Then you’re doing it wrong.

1st plate. Soon as you land kill all the tentacles then camp on the hole closest to the plate (left or right doesnt matter) that keeps you rooted. Allow a tentacle to spawn behind you. Wait until you have bloods on top of you. Kill them so they respawn very quickly on the hole. Once you have a good number, drag them to middle then aoe them. Then kill tentacle and drag it over your bloods till it goes nova, criss crossing until it collects enough blood, one shot it next to the plate, run to a gripping hole so it roots you and then hit the tendon.

(To make it easier to hit, use this macro. “/tar Boss2”) You will auto target the tendon.)

Repeat another 2 times. By the time you get to plate number 3 you’ll have bloods everywhere so it takes a lot less time than the first plate.

The key is being patient enough to gather enough bloods at your feet while you’re being gripped so you dont need to go chasing them. If you’re being thrown off Deathwing’s back thats carelessness.

Even more worse when the stacking debuff on the spine actually did something.
