World of Warcraft is a game that has been on the market for almost 20 years, and has seen many expansions, patches, events, and changes. However, there is something that never changes: the passion and pride of players for their legendary weapons.
Legendary weapons are unique and powerful objects that require great dedication, effort, and luck to obtain (at least some ). They are the symbol of the glory and prestige of the heroes of Azeroth, and many of us keep a special memory of the first time we got them, or the excitement we felt when we saw them in the hands of other players.
However, over time, these legendary weapons have become obsolete and only occupy some spaces in our character’s bank. It is true that some time ago the possibility of transfiguring your weapons with legendary aspects that you had obtained was included (and thank goodness). But I would not stop there.
What if we could use/equip, through the transfiguration system, the visual effects of the legendary weapons we own? What if, in addition to transfiguring the legendary weapons, we could show off their spectacular visual effects at any time and place? I say yes.
I believe this is an option that many players would like to have, and that would have no negative impact on the game. On the contrary, I think it would be a way to pay tribute to the history and culture of World of Warcraft, and to give more personality and variety to our characters. Not to mention the extra boost to get those legendary weapons and make old content.
I don’t know if the implementation of this option would be very complicated, since the legendary weapons still exist in the game and we can transfigure them, maybe we would just have to enable the possibility of transfiguring their effects. Yes, I’m talking about something like cosmetic buffs/debuffs.
Imagine being able to surround your allies again with the protective aura of Val’anyr, Hammer of the Ancient Kings, or being able to cause your enemies to be enveloped by a tornado with Thunderfury, Blessed Blade of the Windseeker. Or who wouldn’t want to be able to surround their character with the soul fragments that their Shadowmourne houses.
That’s why, from here, I want to make a call to the community and the developers of World of Warcraft, to consider the possibility of allowing us to transfigure the effects of the legendary weapons. I think it would be a way to make many players happy, and to give more life and color to the game.
I hope you liked my article, and that you are encouraged to support this idea. I think it’s a way to honor the legacy of World of Warcraft, and to make the game more fun and customizable.
Thank you for reading me, and see you in Azeroth.
