Rework Arms Warrior Please

Here in lies the crux of the problem in my opinion. The damage profile is just “okay”, and due to the fact that it is the most popular melee, Blizzard always looks at it and thinks “Well they seem to like it so no point changing it.”

After years of being “okay”, with the occasional 2-3 week OP period before eventual nerfs back to the middle of the pack, the result is legit one of the most mediocre, boring button mash tilt-simulator ever.

Yes i agree

Are you sure it’s a specific warrior issue, or just a general retail gameplay blend for most specs?

arms needs slow off hcd and or be autopllied like all the other classes within rotation, other thing is rng rotation, we have too much procs its dumb, the class became fury 2.0 at this point, arms should still be chunky setup class, they can make it by adding new ability like an equivalent of onslaught or something we stack then use lets say like demolish with stacks or just give us something cool and new. the core overpover and mortal is fine but mashing 3 bleeds to do most mediocre dmg ever and be a damage bot with defensive being stunnable and disarmable its beyond boring lately

no i tested plenty of classes pas 2t ssns the only badly designed one i playedi feel like is enha, warrior arms mostly and fury, and destro (precog bot spec) , all others feel really fun. unholy is kinda in weird spot too but it feels fluid its kinda lacking in tankiness in pvp and has a lot of aoe due to pve but like core design is fun. all mage specs are great even.

I played shaman, warlock ,warrior hunter, dh mage, dk, even ret a bit and i think these that struggle that is dk despite having good core design could benefit from some new pvp talents or straight up numbers adjustments or some al;ready existing mechanics being buffed as to get more utility with less counter.

the first 3 specs are just not fun to play because rotation got either dumb overbloated rng or you rely on some precog cheese, war and especially arms should have higher skill cap that it does now, its oversimplified and at the same time archaic with slow issue and being a wheelchair. i can take being a wheelchair that chunks but the dmg that chunks should be on point and once on target i dont wanna press hamstring on gcd just to get it insta removed then rooted mid charge then disarmed on my defensive rendering it useless by monk throwing it or rogue using it on last gcd of cheapshot to render the parry effect useless.

I also hate that there is so much procs like i said its literally loterally if i get sudden death maybe, overpover, mortal strike after mortal, op reseting mortal 35% chance so bad. Like when i go for i kill i dont wanna rely if i run out of sudden death, if it crits cuz war benefits from crit rng waay more and all stuff like that. I think blizz completly dropped the ball and spec lost its identity relying on borrowed borrows, reworks, changes of idea so now arms is like a hybrid and amalgamation of all those past years.

Too much small counter nieche things that make it unfun require blizz to literally modernize arms with more skillcap so that we have some identity back, so that they can buff it and make it perform at high ratings whilst not being a menace for low rating ppl.

Lies anyway.
It’s never been a burst spec aside from a few moments in the history of the game.
Point still stands.
