Rework Personal Loot?

Since Blizzard is making Christmas appear early this year. Any chance you can make personal loot fully tradeable? Who cares if RWF are trading gear etc. It’s literally 100-200 people being restricted vs 2M players “enjoying” the game.

I’d go and say that I want ML back and I do, because I simply don’t join corrupted guilds, but the average Joe seems to not understand how to type /gquit, and to some extent I understand that sometimes they don’t want to leave their guilds for other reasons.

So can we get tradable PL or guild mythic only (20/20 guildies present) ML back?

No!!! /10charl

You want things to be soulbound because you cannot say no to people when they ask you for gear or whats the reasoning? I won’t bite

Tired of ninjas on guild, tired of ninjas on pugs, tired on ninjas on classic here you are forced to give the loot or you get guild kick and your name marked on all server forcing you to transfer.

Tired of boosting, cause people would start to sell itens again. People would ninja to sell the item to a boosted on the raid.

Is good like is right now, less problems to players and less problems to blizzard suport.

None of this applies to retail, though.

Boosters have been trading gear 2 weeks into the patch, so… this change wouldn’t matter at all.

In PuGs, maybe. Don’t pug, it’s not healthy anyway, PL restrictions lifted or not.

For proper boosts, this change wouldn’t make any difference whatsoever.

It literally sucks right now, because in order to be able to trade items to friends, I need to grind high ilevel items first. To help a friend get an agility trinket while I’m on my shaman, I first have to grind an agi trinket myself, to be eligible to trade it. An agility trinket is 100% useless for me, as I do not play enhancement. Most slots are less of a problem, mind you, but it still sucks when you’re on a new char, friends helping you gear, and an item drops that’d be BiS for one of them - but you can’t trade it, because it’s in your legendary slot, and you’re running an R1 leggo.

It was even worse in BfA, where weapons trading rules were stricter: to be eligible to trade any weapon on my shaman, I would’ve needed to grind high ilevel 1h agi and 1h int weapons, high ilevel offhand, high ilevel int staff. Thankfully, that’s been relaxed in SL, and I only need to grind 1 high ilevel weapon, and then can trade all kinds of it.

Master looter was 50% of the time ninja looter in pugs. The only way it returns is if you can confirm what is a guild and what is not a guild (and that may be technically impossible for many loose guilds).

If master looter returns: the pugging scene will be 80% more toxic (and it was extremely toxic as I remember it well from the WotLK years at least).

You’re guaranteed 2 items from the raid if you stick with the same group on every difficulty.

With ML you might go months without getting an item.

That and the infamous ninjalooting that was rampant during WoD.
You can also play TBC Classic and join groups where the good items are all hard reserved or soft reserved each run.

I don’t want this in retail.

And “ninja reserved”! We were legitimately contacting GMs all the time for that kind of crap.
It’s probably the GMs that told the designers to get rid of it to save themselves.

That’s a lie, I’ve done a HC run with same people and only gotten 1 item.

Also why do people keep bringing the whole “pug” situation when they talk about ML? ML wouldn’t be usable in pugs with the suggested system and with how it was in legion?

All I want to do is trade the items I don’t need the first couple of weeks and in return be able to get traded the items I do need.
