I do agree that certain concepts in RP just donât belong.
But having more options is never a bad thing, and honestly it opens the door to more and good roleplay. Iâm personally fine with keeping the weapon restrictions as this doesnât hit me at all with the concepts I play out. But yeah 100% to freeing the armor constraints.
Class identity went out of the window when they introduced Sailormoon and other sets that donât fit. Right now I can already put on robes and what not, so what class Identity are you even referring to at this point?

Just because you can wear some robes on warrior that doesnât mean the class identity is dead. What do you even mean? Do you know what dressing up for event, occasion or something like that even means? Itâs exactly the same with those robes. Youâre insane wanting cloth armor to be wearable on plate classes viceversa imo.
Yeah, class identity is a poor argument against removing tmog restrictions. Along with class restrictions for races.
Since classes arenât really a thing, but rather generalizations of various themes that may or may not align with certain cultural traits.
Like paladin isnât paladin. For Human, Dwarves and High Elves itâs paladin. For Blood Elves itâs blood knights, Draenei Exharcs, Zandalari prelates and so onâŚ
And for all we know some of these will use other themes and armor types than others. Like Night Elf warriors, or warriors in general are often nearly naked.
Do Blizzard still restrict some mogs obtained during seasonal events? If so, I definitely want that restriction removed, always seemed sad to me that you farmed these outfits and then were restricted on when you could wear them.
People buy tokens because things can be bought with gold. Transmogs can be bought with gold. Itâs not rocket science. Can you provide any shred of proof this is not the case ?
That is purely subjective. I would have to complete 2 of the higher value world quests to change one of the mogs I used. I had a mog for each class I played. I have around 40 lvl 70s pre expansion. One token would equal 8 total changes.
Mogs are not the most expensive item in the game. It all adds up. Mogs are way more expensive than they should be.
Use heirloom items to make tmog sets.
Theyâre like 1/10th of the cost for tmogging.
Unless youâre talking about transforming your full PvE set that you clear content with, then yes, those are sadly expensive
I usually avoid transforming my PvE gear until I have at least all pieces on Champion track and then only need to swap a piece if something gets replaced.
I can see how that might be a technical limitation equipping one slot (2h weapon) and mogging it into two slots (main and offhand). It would be awesome being able to, though, as ret I never get to use my shields. But even if thatâs impossible they could at least let me mog a 1h weapon.
Also get rid of the armor type restictions for mogs. Class sets are fine, but if I want cloth shoulders, mail feet, leather hat and a gd bow on this one, then it should be possible
