He starts chasing me, I use shadowmeld to stop the chase. He stands still for like 2 seconds after I meld and then he despawns.
Like, what. I can only assume it was meld that caused it because I have no idea what else could have caused it, I wasn’t standing in some weird place or anything.
Did meld work in bfa? Iirc similar mechanics recently would just force it to target a different player so seems weird that it would cause it to reset
Shadowmeld removes you from combat, so if you’re the only one there (Which i assume, since you’re talking about BfA-content), then the boss will despawn, yeah…

When I used mage invis he didn’t reset for me.
If you were the only one in combat, yes. It could also have bugged. Meld used to work fine there.
