Dear Blizzard,
I’ve been having a “bug” since patch 8.3 where my RMB does not “stick”. Almost every time i press my RMB and hold it to move my camera around or to move my character in-game the RMB won’t stick and let’s go for a few seconds. This is really annoying for playing the game and gave me alot of frustrating moment in both PVP & PVP content or just farming/leveling. This almost makes the game unplayable for me and if this bug keeps presisting i might just cancel my subscription. I have also send my MSinfo & DxDiag to the technical support
I have talked to the technical support and they suggested me to make a bug report.
I have tried the following “fixes” but all of them doesn’t seem to work:
-Reinstall the game
-Remove WTF, Cache, interface folder
-Disable all addons
-buy a new mouse
-in-game options like: “Lock Cursor to window” and /console rawMouseEnable 1 and 0
-Change the polling rate of my mouse to 125
-Uninstall razer synapse
-Disable discord
-Disable Nvidia program
-Disable fullscreen optimization in the wow folder
-Disable Open Game DVR
Please try to figure this bug out because it is frustrating and annoying, i’ve played WoW since vanilla and this bug makes it unplayable and it only started with Nya’lotha patch.

Others have had same problem aswell at least since pre-patch (Since many did not come back before it though so unsure where it started).
Yeah it makes game unplayable but no solutions so far.
If they suggested making a bug report, why did you post it on the forums instead of yanno… making a bug report?
The forums are not the place for bug reports. Bug reports are made in game from the support menu.
I started getting this 4 days ago, Then all of a sudden after logging in 2 days ago it was fixed. Tried multiple mice and had same issue. I wonder what fixed it for me?
Yes, I have the same problem. The game is playable for first 10 mins after I have logged in but then the right button stops working. I cannot do anything in the game so I cancelled my subscription. I went through the entire ‘ticket’ process only for them to tell me to keep reporting in-game bugs.
Sweet! I will do hat Blizzard, I will do just that.

This drives me nuts. Especially disruptive if you do arenas/pvp.
At first I assumed, it’s mouse mechanical or software failure. But it doesnt happen in any other game and never had it during mouse test.
Then I assumed it is hidden frame/relic frame of some sort. But fstack showed did not show anything plus left click ALWAYS works.
Now I can only assume It is somekind of RMB interraction thing either with ground below player or player frame mouseover click/autotarget that LMB does not have in game.
Please advise how WoW would be playable again.
Okey i think i found something… It does not fix the problem for a 100% but what makes it better is the following:
- Make sure when you have other programs running (other windows) that it is not underneat your World Of Warcraft game window. Let’s say you have discord open make sure you put it on your second screen or close the WINDOW completely (not the program but just the window), same with battlenet launcher, spotify, chrome, etc.
Could you guys try this out and let me know? it’s helps for me for like 80% of the time.
Never mind my previous post… still no fix and it feels 9.0.5 made it worse
I have the same issue. I’ve been through 3 different mice, still only wow that gives me any trouble. Tried clean installs with no addons. Removed all the background apps that might be interfering. Still the same problem. I’m giving up on wow until it gets fixed.
