RIO, Rating and Esports

You don’t.

It wasn’t just time-dependant. It was ALWAYS about what you did during your time in-game, not about just being in-game (apart from the old PvP ranks).

This dude wants to make this game into some open world farming simulator apparently

It depended on how long you were willing to look for people to do said content with and RNG drop rates.

Yes, maybe that could finally breathe some new needed life into all the beautifully abandoned zones that World of Warcraft have to offer.

No it wouldn’t. Classic top guilds would still stack class no matter how class balancing looked because they want the highest DPS.

You say classic was the golden era, but look at your world buff meta, dispelling of other faction to ruin everything for them, greifing at world buffs, getting straight declined to any content you want to do cause you play X spec.

It’s just as “toxic” as retail as you try and say.

Then Shadowlands suits you well.

Obviously you have all the freedom to play that other WoW game. Classic.

Can someone please insert the bender gif here since im not allowed.

Wow mythic raiding is the hardest content i’ve done in video games in terms of bosses. Finishes cuphead, dark souls, super meat boy, hollow knight. Not much comes close to end bosses during progression.

Because the toxic competitive community enjoy speed clearing easy content.

But this allows for casual people to make guilds and gives them the option to clear the same content.

Beats having Blizzard waste time on making mythic difficulty raids that barely a fraction gets to experience.

WotLK didn’t have these shenanigans and it had 12m players.

So this is what it comes down to? You don’t actually care about RIO or pvp rating. You just got declined to a guild and now you’re salty?

Number of players doesn’t matter for this discussion, I asked a simple question no one answered yet, and that is how do you pug a +15 key without rio score (or any kind of score)

Can you eleborate? M+ is by far from easy. It scaled infinite, so it is actually the hardest content in the game.

I don’t even play retail for these reasons but Ok.

You don’t need mythic+ to be hard when there’s a timer to beat. People will just focus on faster speeds.

It does, it shows that all the tinkering Blizzard did and does results in fewer players thus failure. When the playerbase is reduced to boosters and a handful players, RIO becomes meaningless, heck RIO is meaningless to a certain spot since I could buy a boost like right now.

You clearly don’t know how M+ works, so i am done here

Boosters actually use rio as well, communities look at your rio before you get accepted as a booster.
