Please tell me classic UI for interface options/settings is coming back before launch. Not a fan of the modern one at all

100% agree I hate the new options menus the old 1 was sooooooo much easier to navigate
Has it been included in Classic Era 1.14.4?! 
In HC server PTR it is in - and kills framrate.

Because new UI makes my game laggy. What a … you are!
If the new UI - or whatever is cause of this - stay when HC server go live, I not going to play there. Half normal framerate, sinking to single digit near water or zone borders is not something I going to risk my one life on. Is OK die from DC, stupidity, accident, but is not OK to die from something in UI that can have been not there.
What kind of toaster do you have to have framerate drops over water? 
And no, i celebrate because it mean more than just an interface change. You lagging over it is just funny, but not something to celebrate, tss.
Funny thing is Framerates are fine everywhere in Era, also in/over water. It’s altlast how I see it caused by the new UI. And why you so happy wiht this scroll, scroll, scrool UI; is not even good, and unlogcic too. Water at lowest setting is rippling, at next lowst is not. Very intuitive - or not.
Cause this means Action combat and Interact button are coming to Era and this is great. I had fun in the last weeks playing WOTLK with those options, but Era missed it and i find it miserable to play without those options since i tested them on DF beta. This means i can play every version of classic without constantly feeling that i’m playing an archaic game.
What do those do? I not play Dragonsflight.
The Action Combat makes you target the enemy in front of your camera, based on camera angle. Combined with an old abandonned Addon i’ve modified during Shadowlands, i currently have a similar gameplay to the Action mode of GW2 or the third person gameplay of TESO.
The Interact Button makes you able to interact with NPC and objet next to you without clicking them, by pressing your key. Every modern MMO has this feature and Wow was far behind in term of fluidity without this.
The result is, i don’t develop tendonitis like i did back then by constantly keeping my major finger pressing the right button of the mouse, i can use left and right mouse button as spells like it’s done in most action combat game and the game feel more fluid this way.

Tab does exact same as Action combat 
Don’t know what is GW2 or TESO. I play solely WoW, and small games like Wordle.
But yes I get tendonitis part of it. Only I not the only one complainig lag from new UI.
A key instead if Click for interact actullay sounds good. I have tendonitis threathening me as well. But if price is not fluid motions and death, I take tendonitis over motion sickness 
It does not. Action combat is more like a permanently pressed Scan-tab. Tab just feel clunky, archaic and unnecessary with it to be include in-game.
As for framerate drop, really i really can’t relate. Having The new or the old interface, i’m running Classic and Retail at 144 fps capped. Maybe it’s not hyper-optimized for toasters, but i’m pretty sure at this point that you already had problems here and there, anyway, if you’re to have problems with an interface. I would much more investigate in your addons than anything else if you did not prior to that patch. Maybe you have constant hidden errors. It makes me drop frames when it’s the case, even tho i have a beast.
It helps to be able to identify those error and correct them before the Addon author update, i’m giving you that.
I have almost no addons (two tiny ones Multishot is one) - and disabling them makes no difference whatsoever. PTR is default addon-free btw.
And as said. Era is problem free.
Plus framerate my place, countryside, long way away from servers, never gets over 60 even with brand new gigaPC
Your location as no impact on you framerate, else as a canadian, i would have an horrible framerate. 
And if a band new GigaPC does not get over 60 FPS, then i suppose you write this from 2010. You’re busted Bronze Dragon!

Same subject but on Wotlk, two weeks ago. 
To be fair, i don’t know where are servers now. Back Then they were in Marseille (France), but this studio has been closed. Maybe they are now in UK. But either way, i play through trans-atlantic connection. XD

There are more servers. In Europe, Paris, Frankfurt & Düsseldorf, Copenhagen Stockholm (sorry) at least, so I suppose also more in US and Canada.
But on PTR I saw some with Chinese characters for names, and time is not my time, so I suppose one US based server for this.
But I must just hope for old UI to stay in Era and all - or just most - HC to leave HW so I can once again actually play WoW.
And just checked other PC again fps in Dragonsflight 60.0 Maybe because not gamerPC, but working one. Don’t know. In any case implementing someting to force players to buy new PC just to play is not nice.
I hope it’s part of 1.14.4 so i could enjoy Classic Era once again like i do in WOTLK now.
