Also holy spells like renew and flash heal do more healing when in Disc Spec than in Holy.
That’s what happens when you put a dude who plays Disc only in charge of tuning both Specs.
Holy Priest was murdered with their idiotic rework of healing + “hero” talents in early TWW, then languished as the worst m+ for entire 6 months or s1, got worthless rework in 11.1 that switched power from heal / flash heal to holy words, while keeping holy just as bad in terms of utility / aoe healing & general viability.
Until this moron in charge of these changes gets out of his / her job, I see no hope for holy.
I just gave up on my priest entirely and play my prot pala / blood DK, thankfully the tank tuning department is not as incompetent, as a healing one.

any muppet could tune holy probably to viability in probably 10 mins.

I would myself post for priest’s forum. But I saw your post.
Same I noticed priests play more Disciplines in LFR. Me wondered
I have alt priest and play healer.
But I’m casual player, only play healer for timewalking and LFR.
Played Holy since DF. I heard Disciplines is harder heal. I was fear use it.
Now 11.1. make Disciplines more easy and better heal? I could roll Disciplines from holy
Edit: I tried Disciplines with voidweaver hero from wowhead guide talents.
It’s insane fun play. I can heal with damage enemies same time
when they removed So Renew wasn’t Giving Echo of Light was the day i quit healer Holy.
Haven’t looked back since. I used to love that you put renew on people and it healed for a ton Now the sustain is no longer there as holy.
game devs are focusing on the wrong side of holy Aoe healing with Prayer of healing feels weak when people goes down to the health you’ve already healed them towards.
also removing Circle of healing and focusing on a weak spell such as Prayer of healing instead of making Renew in to something and fixing that to work with Holy’s mastery Echo of Light again would fix the class.
But it is what it is. Holy feels weak.
