Its normal, woth full cds +good gear+crits.
Pop defensives and its dodge , kite, vanish, blind when ww pops cds.
Rogues are S tier, ww its A tier.
Why wouldnt be normal?
If mink dorsnt trinket ur cs opener, u take 80% hp in 1 combo.

I mean do you have to prep for it to get so high damage, what should i watch before or pay attention the most to, any particular skill ramping that dmg etc.

In a 1v1 scenario for example:
If i get a stun on you, and u dont trinket:
I will pop burst macro
Tiger, covenant ability wich makes me look like a ghost, on use damage trinket+ orc racial+ clones.
There is insane burst if u get a free stun on anyone.
Watch if tiger its popper and clones, and trinket imediatly.
Otherwise ur dead in 1 full combo with a good gear ww.
Also, at 15% we got touch of death, wich is an execute!

In an arena scenario,
A decent monk wont pop all cds at once.
Will pop kyrian covenant ability+ sef(clones) and they will rising sun kick+ fist of fury.
Still good burst, keep in mind u also have a partner.
And then use the tiger for pressure!
Its not jsut with monk, with every class whn they pop cds, for ex ret , fire mage, if u can kite, vanish, blind it, ur safe!

Rising sun kick its nr 1 ability damage whise! Without evasion u cant stop it! It works like eviscerate
