Risky Covenant Swap?

Hey, everyone.
Recently leveled up a Demon Hunter and I’ve actually been having a lot of fun with the class despite all the obvious shortcomings - that we’ll hopefully see improved upon!

I went for Kyrian and I’ve found it to be incredibly strong in Mythic+ along with the great Phial - no problems there.
But for PvP I find the shortcomings of the DH is a bit too hard to just play around without playing Night Fae and having access to the proper game-changer ability “The Hunt”.

In the guides I read prior to picking Kyrian I read it as very black and white.
You have a very hard choice. Do you want to PvE? Kyrian. Do you want to PvP? Night Fae.
But, as far as the comments on these guides - it seemed like the guides were a bit outdated - perhaps from a beta build or something - cause they said Night Fae was indeed weaker than Kyrian for PvE, but not totally unusable like Necrolords.

So what do you think? Would swapping convenants now make me able to do PvP and still stay at least relevant for Mythic+?

One of the fears I have is that Night Fae is on the chopping block for a nerf if the base class gets a much needed buff in the near future.

Dont even take the Covenants that extremely serious as Havoc if you solely do PvE. If you do PvP, just go for Night Fae, its really good in PvE and M+ too.

Thanks!
That was what I was hoping to hear at least

I use the hunt for mythic+ and it’s good, from what I’ve read i’s barely behind the others in dmg.

The hunt is fine for pve, as is venthyr.

For pvp tho neither of the “kyrian or venthyr” are fine … but the hunt is mandatory. So ye that kinda pushes you to only overall okeish choice towards NF.

They most likely wont nerf hunt if at all, it’s the only thing keeping dh barely playable in pvp honestly, and they said they will be carefull with tuning so not to invalidate all the progress a player made already. So if you wana swap go ahead.
