Is it really RNG when you are picking up 40 knowledge points in less than an hour. I could even be wrong as only 20 min elapsed on one true potion and i had in the early 20 points. The next day the KP’s just kept coming.
It got to a point where i was anticipating a KP drop. I can recall at least 4 times where i got a KP in successive nodes.
This is not RNG anymore but more like a catch up. I have a funny feeling that the herbs are now not going to be as important anymore and be superseded by something else in this up and coming patch.
Dont get me wrong. It is nice to finally be able to get some KP’s on the board after hours and hours of just herbing not even trying to get KP. I could not get anything beyond what was the normal 5 and purple 4 drop. Now all of a sudden in less than an hour i get 40 kp?
I got the 5 single KP and then the purple 4 point one. After that though the deeproots just kept coming and coming.
If you’ve only just started herbing you’ll be behind on knowledge, there is catch up in game.
It’s RNG ofc and only with an addon can you track if you are caught up or behind. I started off using a WA but have since swapped to the Weekly Knowledge addon. I like the overview of all my profession army and I can easily see what I still need to do without having to relog to see.
It also has a built checklist for individual characters to see if you are missing anything.
That was on main. Who goes back to the start of the xpansion and left during the mass guild bank loss. Since then ive been back 1 month. During that month nothin dropped for me other than the 5 initial and the 4 from the purple. At no point in time did i ever get those single Deeproot KP’s. Not once.
Now all of a sudden in the span of 40 min or so i get 40 kp?
The first time you herb a new type of node you get KP. There are treasures that give KP, you can buy some KP. And catch up is from start of expansion to now, every week you would normally have got 6xKP gains from doing herbing. Now you’re getting them all because you’re behind.
I say puny is a bot. Not human. Fiction. A computer. Not real.
To get this thing back on topic…
I, like puny have several characters that gather herbs. I have three. Yet non of the other ones, who are on a similar track as main when it comes to accumulated KP, are not getting the crazy amount of KP drops.
But per “catchup” mechanism, they should be getting them as well.
Also. It is only the “other” herbalists that are stuck in limbo and are not catching up. My miner is doing fine and “catching up”. So is my skinner. But the other two herbalists are not getting jack other than weekly quest, the 5 normal KP drops you get in the blue format and one 4 point purple. No deeproots. At least not at the pace that my main, who is still pickign them up like mad, is getting.
