Any problems in main rogue?

I played rogue exclusively for close to a year, and it’s definitely a lot of fun. Some problems you might run into are how squishy they can be. You can’t just face tank stuff like a plate wearer, or a class with good self sustain. You need to use your brain a bit.
Another issue they have, which Feral suffers from also imho, is running out of energy, which can be super frustrating when you’re trying to close a kill, or you need a sippy cup but don’t have the resources.

Maining rogue has its issues, stealth is broken every patch. Gearing for each spec is nightmarish since your stat priority for M+/raiding/pvp all differ severely and your bags consist of like more gear than bag spaces. Its alot of fun when you find players worse than you whether its skill cap or simply gear wise watching them blow trinket on a cheap shot or the first kidney of the fight.

You’re basically forced to swap spec to perform at your potential best in M+ or ST or Hectic aoe etc. as outlaw suffers horribly in ST and assa the vice versa with out explicit gear/trinkets etc.

You will feel energy starved fairly often and feel very obligated to play nelf, orc, or belf cause of how well their racials compliment the class as a whole.

Oh lastly, you are basically a pin cushion without big 2 min cds.

I’ve been maining a Rogue since 2004 (with large gaps in the intervening years, granted) and I’ve never not had fun. Well, ok - apart from the early MC raids where I developed legit RSI through spamming 22223 22223 over and over for hours on end.

My only real gripe with the current state of affairs (I play outlaw) is how consistently inconsistent the RNG works with Roll the Bones. Frequently I’ll end up with a ‘buff’ which is basically useless in the context, and I have to waste further energy on re-rolling.

That aside? Play Rogue. We’re l337 pr0 360 n0sc0p3 m8.

To simplify, rogue class is specific, a unique experience, gameplay not compared to other classes. You’re gonna like it or you’re gonna “hate it”. Its that how it works.
