The changes to rogue seem a bit of a poor choice sorry to say.
Carnage 20%-8%. Easiest fix to lower rogue DPS sure. I can see your thought process. But it brings the difference between playing cut to the chase (the most ridiculously simple rotation ever) and carnage - not simple so close that there is literally no point using carnage. It also massively negatively affects rogue tanks if they are off tanking because you can’t make use of unfair advantage if something isn’t swinging at you. So for an OT it’s like a double nerf on damage because of the silly change to rogue Just a Flesh Wound. Change rogue DPS output by not changing carnage - making a slight alteration to the AP scaling of poisons from deadly brew would very likely have been a much much more balanced approach.
Just a flesh wound - instead of a incredibly painful flat -20% damage. Surely the better option to balance output of rogues sensibly would have been to lower the damage of Unfair advantage slightly and reduce the Attack Power gained through blade dance? This has the effect of lowering the power of saber slash’s huge bleed balancing the difference between saber slash, mutilate and main gauche, and lowering UA would close the gap between UA and carnage.
In brief - lowering UA damage out put would make an unnerfed carnage and UA much closer on output opening different build options.
Lowering the AP given by blade dance instead of just flat nerfing JaFW would lower the output of Saber slash and the rogue in general which would closer align and balance the out put of mutilate and saber slash and main gauche
It truly feels like the changes you’ve made have been a “what requires the absolute least amount of work” instead of. What would create the best balance and build options that make sense across all the builds. It feels very very weak on the blizzard development team to be completely honest
