How should a rogue defend himself from enemy attacks ? I mean.... He has leather armor which does not offer much protection, because is its whole purpose is to offer is wearer some protection and to be fast and agile and you can't be like this with a heavy armor.
"Leech" has been greatly reduced (somewhere at 2%), and "physical damage taken reduced" is for a character with Item Level 408 is aprox 11%. Indeed he has "Evasion" and " Cloak of Shadows " which made him resistent to 100% to physical and magical damage, but that is for 10 sec, after that you must wait 2 min for cooldown. And for heal he has "Crimson Vial" which heal himself with 25% of his max HP with cooldown 30 sec.
How I'm suppose to defend myself from attacks with rouge ? That "Crimson Vial" do all work but sometimes it is not enaugh. Rogue should had have a passive that would give him at least 30-40% decreases damage taken in combat 1 v 1 at least.
If a am wrong can someone correct me please ?
There is no such thing is being wrong on a topic like this its your opinion or w/e u want to call it. We rogues have this ability called feint which is pretty strong AOE damage reduction with almost no cooldown.
Sometimes the best defense is strong offense. CC is very much also part of the Defensive Toolset Rogues have. Stuns, Blind, Sap, Gouge, these are all great and useful tools to deny your Enemy from action. Most importantly, Stealth is your biggest asset. You aren’t meant to take on everything all at once, but to pick and chose your how you engage the enemy at your own time and place. It’s sometimes faster to take enemies on one at a time, than to just go in guns blazing.
You know, 10 seconds of being practically immune to physical damage is a lot better than 12 seconds of 40% reduction.
Cloak is a little shorter but then again it basically makes you unstoppable for its duration while it has absolutely no drawbacks to how much you can do to your adversaries.
You live by playing your cooldowns and control carefully. If you are having trouble living things, check your gear or check your methods.
