Rogue mage requires skill

Rogue/Mage receives a lot of undeserved hate from a lot of trashy players and what none of you know is that its the only comp in the game that actually requires the players to communicate with each other and play well together

All melee cleaves just go in and mongo each other to death while rogue/mage needs set ups and they are very hard to do unless you and your partner are well coordinated.

Both rogues and mages are really squishy too and die if a warrior or almonst any other melee just looks at them hard enough.

Point of this is just for people to stop crying about the last thing in this game that requires skill and get better plebs

I mean you’re not wrong, melee cleaves do just mongo in 🤷

I always set it like this…
RM / RMP it’s like spaceship… It can be the fastest thing in world, but not many can drive it…
So an easy comp it’s like bicycle everyone can drive it and get faster than a spaceship without pilots

Give cloaked in shadows conduit a cooldown and we can start to talk about rogues being squishy.

even most people who complaining about RMP play at a rating where above mentioned is pretty basic, that’s not it chief

and you guys didn’t even get to play against assa rogue with tier sets + nightfae Holy yet kek

This is gonna be hella fun

Dueled one who was equipped with 4-set recently. The experience was like when you try to extinguish an oil fire by stepping on it. Never felt so helpless…

Exactly! rogue/mage is like a spaceship with a lot of technology and buttons and its really complicated but once you know what youre doing you will be the best.

Warriors, Rets, WW and all those melee classes/specs are just mongos compared to rogue/mage and they all cry over silly stuff because they get beaten by better players.

I 100% agree with what youre saying and people need to realize this. You shouldnt talk about rogue/mage unless you have played the comp yourself and realized how hard it actually is to set up kills and work together with your partner but since the majority of pvpers havent tried the comp themselves they just cry over it because they keep being beaten by good set ups

Now on forums i just hate this word. Everything can sound hard when you use this word. You can even make dh rotation sound hard when you use this word.

Why? You have to set up kills as rogue/mage its not like a mongo cleave where you just go in and hulk smash your keyboard until someone dies like you do on your main (you main warrior).

Rogue/mage does take set up to get kills which is difficult and therefore they deserve to be on top of the food chain. Not every player has the brain capacity to play rogue or mage and thats why we have other classes such as warrior for you to play when cc + killing at the same time gets too much.

Theres no shame in it but leave the better players alone and start focusing on getting better yourself instead of complaining about a comp you cant beat because they outplay you constantly

Don’t let this thread distract anyone from the fact that Feral/Lock/X is the real megabrain comp, not RMP.

Purple man has fewer spell schools and a pet, and Feral is even squishier than Mages without the ability to stun the entire team!

hahahahahahaha

Only skill RMP requires is not DR’ing your own kidney. Period.

Who knew it requires skill to press a few buttons.

the problem is rogue mage isnt anymore what you think it is. rogue resets are too easy, mage is too tanky, holy priest setups too easy.

Im not surprised something like that would come from one of the easiest melees if not the easiest: the DK.

Dks require litteraly 0 setup only pressing buttons as soon as they get off cd. If you were to do that as a rogue for example you would just insta lose because you have to time things correctly.

Playing rogue is compareable to a game of chess where you have to respond to your opponents moves in order to win and a dk is more of a game of monopoly where anything can happen its just completely RNG.
