The correct answer is Rogue
true that mate
Warlocks are more fun in pve and quite good in pvp supporting others if you’re not alone.
Rogues on the other hand are great in solo pvp as they hard counter many classes (you cant die to a warlock unless you really suck) and can pick their fights and if the fight doesnt go well, they can always run away.
Depends what you’re looking for. Warlock is way better at soloing group quests, staying alive and cruching through quests expeditiously without really stopping. Rogues on the other hand are effectively railroaded into combat spec(until 50), can’t do big pulls, have to eat often and have rather lackluster aoe until they get fan of knives, in their 70s.
Endgame they’re both top tier, with multiple high performance specs. Atm Demonology is both the best support and best dps, in the game, but that’s expected to mellow out as other classes/specs hit certain gear thresholds.
Rogue is harder to level. Warlock is easier.
They both play VERY differently however. I know many people hate energy and combo points, and there are random elements to the rogue rotation that really annoy some folk.
Warlock rotation is much smoother and generally pretty chill by comparison. It’s not a one button spec by any means, but i’ve always found affliction very satisfying to play, despite it’s outward appearance of being complex.
Warlocks get groups easier though. Rogues don’t add much and there are less raid spots for them too.
FOK is level 80 btw. And even them, it requires 2x 2.5+ weapons and weapon swap macro’s to be anything other than hot-trash on-trash
Warlocks played well are the Gods of Warcraft - always have been - always will be
Lock 100% XD
