What are some good Rogue pre-BIS weapons which aren’t any of the following?
Dragonmaw
Gladiator’s Slicer
Blinkstrike
Vindicator’s Brand
Gladiator’s Shanker
The Night Blade.
All of these are pretty hard to get, I have hardly any gold after buying flying. Are there any decent weapons which aren’t any of the above?
I can’t remember the name. But sword from last boss BM
Heroic Slavepens / normal/heroic Mechanar has a decent blue sword, 2.4 or 2.6 speed respectively IIRC, with crit/AP
Edge Of The Cosmos from normal Mechanar, last boss.
Is dual edge of the cosmos the best then? Or MH Edge and offhand Latro’s?
Afaik you’ll want Latro’s in OH as it’s BiS I hear.
This. You never go dual slow weapons as combat.
Edge of Cosmos + Latro’s Shifting Sword would be your best bet in terms of easy to acquire.
Latro’s Shifting Sword in particular is simply your Phase 1 BiS, there is no better Offhand Sword from Kara, Gruul and Magtheridon.
Vindicators Brand isnt hard to acquire either, it just takes some time to farm enough Marks/Armaments and to do the few quests.
Alternatively you can opt for a Fist Weapon as Mainhand and go with Demonblood Eviscerator from Shattered Halls/The Bladefist from Shattered Halls Heroic. However you would want to Respec and get 5 Points in BOTH Sword Specialization and Fist Weapon Specialization then.
Blinkstrike/Dragonmaw if you got the gold
Vindicator’s brand if you don’t (can easily farm it in like a day)
Bladefist - If you got the balls to farm SHH.
Offhand Latros from BM, no other consideration needed.
Yes, Latro’s is bis in phase 1 for OH. For main hand u can use High Warlord’s/Grand Marshall Slicer if u have some honor and EOTS marks.
