Rogue specs

Hello i have some questions

Is rogue good on pve?
Which spec is easier?
Is rogue acceptable in groups or take time to be accepted?(important)
Compare to havoc dh who is easier rogue( any specific spec) or havoc dh?
Who is more fun rogue or dh. For who tryed both
And lastly havoc dh/fury warrior/all rogue specs. Who can survive open world against much mobs better?

Thanks

“Is rogue good on pve?”
→ yes, but they don’t offer a lot of utility in a raid especially and they are melee, so ranged dps will always be invited before you.

“Which spec is easier?”
→ I’d say assa or outlaw is definitely easier than sub

“Is rogue acceptable in groups or take time to be accepted?(important)”
→ if you want quick invites, play a tank or healer - or at least ranged dps.

“Compare to havoc dh who is easier rogue( any specific spec) or havoc dh?”
→ clearly havoc. rogues are one of the hardest classes ingame.

“Who is more fun rogue or dh. For who tryed both”
→ depends on you. I enjoy both for different reasons. DH is more mobile, has more survivability in fight… rogue can sneak around everything and vasnish in an emergency.

“And lastly havoc dh/fury warrior/all rogue specs. Who can survive open world against much mobs better?”
→ I’d say DH again, they have the most sustain, allthough fury comes close, rogue struggles with sustain in fight.

Sub rogue is the meta for mythic. Fury and havoc also perform good.
However, rogue needs more skillZ, havoc and fury for example are easier and big numbers.
I have them three and for me warrior survives the most.
Also, rogue is very item dependent.
As for the waiting part, you are a dps, yes, you will wait longer than heal and tank.
Also, people need brezes and lust firstly, then covenant utility or some cc utility. And range specs i think are more wanted.

Btw, you’re a hunter, why don’t stick with it and master that class instead then if you’re not happy try the others you want. But, honestly, hunters are in a good spot rn.

All rogues are quite strong, in fact Sub is meta as Naethir pointed it out.

As for difficulty?
Sub (managing many short cooldowns and lining it up correctly with opportunity windows) >

Assa (managing bleeds, with a ST cooldown and a mini CD which can be liberally used more or less, very simple AoE) >

Outlaw (keep up an attack speed buff, get and keep the best RtB random buff, blow CDs on cooldown, 4 button ST rotation with AoE being ST + Bladeflurry).

So go Outlaw as it’s the easiest (I think).

Do expect a lot of waiting since you are DPS only, and Havoc will pretty much always be harder than any rogue spec.

Also, its survivability mostly comes from CC and using them correctly, with a few cooldowns. Harder to master, but is more rewarding than a havoc leeching back all damage taken, and in some situations your toolkit is better.

yes, especially in m+ its a sought after class.

assa i d say, at least for me.

in m+, yes. for raids it depends. since you re a dps you will always take longer to get into groups anyways naturally.

havoc dh.

all of them are great. if its just for open world content i d say go with whatever you like best but i just love stealth, makes things so much faster.
