So do you guys actually ever do maths or testing or anything of the tier sets?
Cos the new rogue tanking tier is hilarious!!
The average world buffed sinister strike hits for sub 500 damage. So a 10% heal on it would be less than 50.
And to get a blood shield it needs to be excess healing.
So let’s do some maths.
With world buffs let’s say an average rogue tank has 13k hp. His sinister strike hits on average for 500. And let’s go all out and say. Every sinister strike with the MG buff up (10s buff 20sCd does work of MG is evaded lol)
Let’s say we hit sinister strike every second for 10s. That’s 1k healing received by sinister strike.
Now let’s say we want this new fancy “blood shield”
20% shield!!! So 13000x0.2 =2600
2600 / 50 = 52. If we are cleaving 26 sinister strikes
So you’re telling me. You great and wise design for rogue tank is. They have to hit a mob 26 (if cleaving) or 52 times (at least) without taking ANY damage to get to the max 20% shield.
That’s over 3 minutes single target 5x20s. Omg GG
