Rogue vs Orb Carrier

Equality. To some, it’s just a word. To Blizzard, the very concept is completely alien.

Rogues are the most overpowered kings of all PvP and no one can ever have the b*lls to nerf them. Why is it decreed that rogue must always be the winner of any 1 vs 1 conflict?

Take an orb carrier, I don’t care what class you are. A rogue appears behind you and stuns you, and you WILL be dead in 2 stabs (maybe 3 if you have super gear).

This happened like 4 times to me last Kotmogu. I don’t get why orb carrying makes you so weak instead of stronger. Ok, maybe because if your group is around you, peeling and healers are healing, it’s impossible to kill an orb carrier DK tank otherwise.

But holy cow does this lend to abusive situations.

You take orb, you KNOW there’s a rogue, so you use some AoE to flush it out successfully.

It stuns you, and you die in 2 stabs, can’t do anything to get out of that stun.

Every… single…time.

Isn’t it time to at the very least RE-THINK this ‘rogue vs. orb carrier’ situation’, so the orb carrier would be something MORE than a rogue punching bag?

How many times have rogues unfairly and using their Blizzard-given OP over other classes stunkilled innocent players that WOULD have had the skill and ability to fight back, if it hadn’t been for the “you can’t play for the time it takes for rogue to kill you”?

This is EXACTLY like the situation where your parents take your controllers away so your unskilled little sister or bother can win, although you KNOW you would be able to beat them in a fair fight. And it happens every time, so it’s really bad parenting.

Why has blizzard created a class for the sick mind that wants to torture and easily overpower others, and take their keyboard and mouse away so they can kill them without any resistance?

What kind of fight is it, when a class can just kill any other class without any resistance? Let us at least do something to escape, stun or resist, let us be able to stun the rogue and teleport invisibly to a random location or something, just so it can’t ALWAYS stunkill any and every player (especially orb carrier) any time it wants.

Come on, blizz, you KNOW this is a big problem, how about finally doing something permanently functional about it, so we don’t have to fill these forums with requests to nerf rogues?

World of RogueCraft since 2004, they have answer on any question. When i was a FC in RBG actually rogues was the main threat.

A mechanic that puts a damage taken increased debuff on you during a time of one-shot burst classes is terrible. As a Sub Rogue I know I shouldn’t be able to just shadowstrike > eviscerate to kill a orb carrier from full health.

Then again, I’ve carried Orbs and been one-slapped by a MM Aimed shot, and a Paladins Templar Verdict and Judgement. And don’t get me started on a Covoked Boomy.

A lot of things need fixing. Hopefully plenty of hot fixes will come soon.

It’s almost like the BG was designed to not let one person hold the orb for entire duration since MoP.

It’s an absolutely awful BG anyway, thankfully it’s usually quick

One thing I’ve noticed in low level BGs (10-19 or 20-29) is that the burst is way less insane yet everyone can still be really threatening, it’s a nice change from the bursty lvl 60 BGs I do now where’s it’s stun or die.

personaly I never realy understood why, maps where you carrie stuff, you can mount in.
removing the ability to mount and speed bursts, would make bgs whit orb or flags to carrie, much more intresting, becuse instead of just chasing the carrier, people would need to actualy intercept instead, in just mount up and run after.
removing speed bursts, of the carrier would make the bgs more fun.

Just imagine how ungodly nice would be for when a tank warrior carrying a flag uses dragon charge or any other ability the flag simply dropped HAHAHAHA (Well, ok, or simply not letting them use the abilities >_>)

Seriously, this thing creates situations where some classes have to be chasen by mount in a regular basis because of how much speed and mobility they have, it’s disgusting. Some times a flag can be moved more than half the map in less than 10 seconds…

Sadly Chris Kaleiki didn’t touch on that before leaving, and he seemed to be the only one in the PvP department LOL
