Rogues and the "skating" problem

Hello, I am a rogue player (subtlety) and as such I spend most of my time in stealth.

Rogue is now a class that is accessible by every race, and that’s why each and every single race has at their disposal a stealth_idle and a stealth_walk/run animation.

I’m sure that most rogues already are aware that the state of the stealth walk/run animation has always been questionable: lots of race+gender combos basically don’t have their animation synchronized with their movement speed.

But it seems like Blizzard is “correcting” the good functioning one in a wrong, reverse way.

I made this quick video sample just to show the community what I’m talking about.

The first part shows how the male blood/void elf (my main) stealth_run animation got desynch’d since patch 10.2.5 (Gilneas Reclamation) for whatever reason, ultimately breaking the animation.

Second part shows an in-game “slider” that defines the difference between a broken animation and a correctly synchronized one.

While I don’t know if it was intentional for them to break the male blood/void elf animation, the issue as of now Patch 11.0.2 was still not fixed and I’m unaware wether or not Blizzard intends to do the same to the others.

I reported this as a bug and I am posting here on the official wow forums, but I doubt I’ll be heard.

The reason why I’m posting this is to raise awareness with the community, hoping for something to happen. If anyone comes with a better idea to have this addressed, please let me know.
