Rogues need a party buff / raid buff

Rogues need some love for pve , every other class brings some Kind of utility,party or raidbuff. We are far from toping meters in gnome and almost impossible to Get A pug.

Hunters the only «pure dps» Even though rogue tanking is A meme atm have A raidwide kings.

What are your thoughts about this?

It does make sense to give rogues some kind of raid buff, as every other class has something afaik. Maybe something like the +phys damage thing from Wrath.

1 % hit
10 % attack power
5-10 % melee haste etc one of those

Sure, but then buff retri and feral damage to match.

People are constantly screaming how classes with utility should be the worst dps - so rogue needs a big nerf if they get any utility.

What utility are you talking about? The classes you just mentioned got auras/blessings, feral got innervates wild strikes.

What does A rogue bring to gnome apart damage that aint Even close to 4-5 other specs atm?

According to you rogues should be top dps every expansion. Since we got nothing else as the solo class in the game

feral just dont have currently access to the Wolfshead Helm, which causes energy struggle

the armor from those bosses in gnome is just too high for our current level

Feral doesnt need any kind of buffs in pve, for pvp yeah they need a buff when it comes to the Survivability.

XD just find a guild who needs a ret how simple is that, i mean u can reroll to a op class like rogue, try to find a random grp as a rogue GL with that champ!

Ret brings enough utility to the raid at 60

damn even in classic 2019 my raid had a ret, do you know why?

if you think ret is bad, or useless, than it´s not the ret it´s just you.

% increased spell dmg taken, that would be a lovely compliment to the caster meta.

Deadly brew could easily do this, put another poison debuff on target.

Yeah we need something so that there is actually a reason to take us in a group.

Why take rogue when you can have a melee hunter who can buff the raid and do more damage

+5% Attack speed to all party members BUT -30% damage. How does that sound?

terrible, even as tank u cant take it because it will destroy ur threat. best rune would be a combo point spender that gives random buff to party (like 20 all stats, or 5% haste etc), would make it so having multiple rogues is good

I don’t and I am doing quite well, thank you, but the trend on warcraftlogs during the whole of SoD has had retri paladins on the bottom of all dps specs.

Just because something is not completely useless doesn’t mean it doesn’t need readjustment. I played a rogue in Classic, and there were a handful of us, and a handful of warriors. Playing a retri paladin was not fun, good, nor did it get you invited.

Would you enjoy doing absolutely miserable dps while using a horrible 2h just to buff caster dps? Nobody wants to play or invite support retri palas, which is clear from Era logs.

Only spiteful people who coincidentally wouldn’t be caught dead playing retribution want the spec to remain the weakest in the game. TBC and WOTLK redeemed the spec, and guess what, paladin is the most played class in retail.

Master Poisoser from Wotlk would be nice! It would give +3% increase critical hit chance on the target from all source. That would be the melee equalent of Boomkin form! Other choice would the Cata equalent choice, which would increase spell damage taken by 3%.
Also i would like to see Venomous Wound from Cata. In case you apply Rupture on the target it would do an addtional nature damage to the target.
Cut to the Chase would be nice. Refereshes your Slice and Dice durration with Envenom.
Vendetta would be good choice of GCD, but a toned down version. It would have 3/5 min cooldown and it would increase the the damage taken from you by 10% instead of 20%. Every class got their toolkit from Wotlk (Dispersion/Divine Storm/Beacon of Light/Devestate/Living Bomb/etc…)
Cloak of Shadow is good example of a rune for PvP, cuz casters are way too op with instant cast spells and a lot of DoTs.

I don’t think we get any of these, cuz they gonna say “rOgUe wEre VIaBLe aND TOp DPs iN cLAsSIC”.

Well if rogues dont Get any buffs for raid/party and damage stays the way it is. The class will become irrelevant pretty soon.

And its allready becoming irrelevant in group pvp without cloak in this meta.

Dunno why they gave other classes the +20% nature damage debuff instead of rogues would have be so obvious.
I’ve said before give deadly brew a debuff like +nature or some form of +hit/haste when debuffed with deadly.
Then I thought make slaughter from the shadows a bleed build and when bleeds are active they take 4% increased physical damage from the arms talent in later versions
