I mean it used to work like the description back in wotlk iirc, this is why I assumed it still works like that.
cause it scales of spell dmg
theres kinda diffrence between thoose 2 abilities.
Also the lore or principal of this abilite allways was kinda of spell oriented earlier in the game. The animation now just looks like stormbolt now.
It is working kind of like the description. What I’m saying you are wrong about it the Holy damage not being resistable, because it is.
That’s a good point, but … I guess they changed that anyways, or gave it a “can’t be resisted” flag.
Duel is just odd and should be removed. If you use it vs immunities you cant see them but they can see you. AOE heals go through it, AOE basically anything goes through it (except damage I think?), half the time you can see the healer and still heal. Channels continue to go through as well. Almost every class in the game has a counter or something they can do vs duel so its basically used to re-stealth half of the time.

Yea it is a bug, target becomes unattackable. I had the same problem before, it is 100℅ a bug.
This is a bug I’m sure, shadowy dual is both the best and worse skill for sub hands down, it has so many bugs that rogues are left speechless and confused on a daily basis by paladins gaining invisibility while being able to attack them in the dual because they used bop, unpredictable vision granted to other players outside the dual who can cast into the dual.
It’s my favourite spell on sub but my god it makes me paranoid how I feel I’m playing roulette every time I use it
Oh and for clarity, some paladin ‘magic abilitys’ are actually physical… odd but they are
