Rogues sudden demise

Very nice to see sudden demise (rogues execute) can go off when the rogue is NOWHERE NEAR the target, i thought it might of been a one off, but seen it happen multiple times.

Meanwhile monks ToD is buggy as ken and never procs properly - they need to sort out sudden demise, to at least make it where the rogue has to be in range with the target its stupid and more brain dead gameplay

ToD just needs a rework, it doesnt match with the server delay worst execute in the game

To hear a zug-zug WW monk in the current gamestate call rogue ‘brain dead gameplay’ is something else LMAO

Don’t get me wrong. I know my class is strong currently, and I am not writing this to defend my class or sandbag. My class IS strong - just like a lot of other classes atm, including WW

If you are confused why Sudden Demise can execute even when the rogue ain’t near you, maybe you should read the tooltip?

If it’s so upsetting that Sudden Demise can execute when the rogue isn’t near, what’s next then? Rupture and Garrote shouldn’t deal damage if the rogue runs away too?

You have to keep in mind that Assassination since Legion has been designed for the lowest common denominator amongst Rogue players. It’s there for the people who want to reap the benefits of the inherently loaded Rogue toolkit without any of the forethought or planning required to pilot Subtlety.

The spec’s gameplan is to hold W at you and press Kidney Shot off CD, so it’s important that the majority of their damage keeps ticking at range for if you manage to create distance afterwards.

Never forgetti Shadowlands Sepsis burst. Going 100-0 at 30 yards around three corners from the casting Rogue.

Is it what it is. If you’re mad bleeds deal damage even if the rogue (or feral, for that matter) runs away, you’re the clueless moron

I do think that Sudden Demise is unreasonable from a PvP perspective. I’d argue it either needs to be totally disabled in instanced PvP, or reduced to some superficial trigger threshold like 5%.

I mean the sudden demise barely executes now with basic bleeds on the target unless your billy no cleanse and running around with no cds used + shiv + kingsbane & deathmark applied which is a given at that point.

I dont have much xp so I can only go from a logical sense stand point here.

Sudden Demise is like bleeding out quickly. If you are stabbed 5 times and the dude runs away, you are still gonna bleed out.

From that point of view it makes sense the way it works. With that said I have no love for Rogues lol.

That makes sense, but going down that route TOUCH OF DEATH shud kill them - unfortunately its buggy as ken and never seems to proc, meanwhile theres is “passive”

they also literally have a better bubble than paladins lmao
