I agree, the human one was quite interesting! Unfortunately, my only orc was apparently boosted at some point, so I’m not getting that one any time soon

There are some nice things in this month’s Trading Post, though!

I assumed those torch looking thingies would actually light up the dark, as the description literally said, but it doesn’t seem like they do…

Rpers are some of the most wholesome people I’ve interacted with in wow, especially dwarf players

Sadly hunter locked but it does look great!
Which reminds me that warriors and rogues can still get ranged weapon mogs and equip them but are still missing the ability to actually use them properly for rp purposes.

Back then you had a simple skill called ‘shoot’ which would toggle ranged weapon auto attacks.

Make more customizable options:
Males and Females can use both genders hairstyles.
Give all hairstyles and cosmetics to all races; Let me have troll hair on my elf, why not…
Add in a height-selector - we already have potions adjusting our height in game, so make these different heights a selectable thing?
Remove super long cooldowns on cosmetic toys, they are just… unfun.

Not sure if anyone’s tried recently, but I got my Tuskarr Dinghy today, and as comfirmed by the comments on WoWhead, the bug that let you continue your fish count (if you get back to the starting point on your own, rather than letting Ruriq magic you back), is no more.

It wasn’t easy - at first I thought it was impossible - but after 15 ish attempts, I finally got it

(definitely more luck than skill).

It is significantly slower than the Angler’s Fishing Raft, so I’d say the raft is still worth getting.

(By spamming the specebar I got the Dinghy up to 144 % of running speed, while the Raft peaks at 270 %.)

Wonder if the new rep will anything useful for rp purposes, hasnt been confirmed yet what they do or dont contain in terms of rewards as far as i recall.
Some cosmetic dungeoneering backwear would be nice though… more pickaxes, shovels, etc, to fit the new zone?

I would like to see a jacket or chest transmog that is designed properly to facilitate layering with shirt/tank top transmogs. Seperate items to enable players to mix and match styles and colours of their choice.

So you could have:

  • adventurer style shirt and pocketed leather or woven jacket

  • old fashioned frilly embroidered shirt and brocade short or mid length jacket

  • Ripped, stained top and scruffy coat with patches

  • linen lace top and knitted cardigan with pockets.

I wonder how roleplayers feel about the Trading Post.

For me personally, it is the most engaging monthly game content I have ever interacted with in WoW, thus far.

Every month I am excited to see what the new stuff is, and if I can afford what I want.

Several times already, since the Post’s implementation, I have initially loved a transmog, and then with significant disappointment realized that, “Oh, this is limited to such and such armor type.”

Still, I love it as a not too grindy source of various nice RP friendly transmogs.

Inky Black Potions stack up to 200 now! A lot of my bankspace is freed up now!

As for the Trading Post, I wish it had less bugs and it didn’t involve chores but other than that, I love the low fantasy transmogs in there. I’ve done some shopping in the past few months.

Glad to hear it , and agreed!
The 25 raidbosses is good every month as its doable in any raid and there’s bound to be some older mogs you may want to mogrun for.
Some others can get a little tedious at times but -usually- they dont take too long.

I do still very much wish they would extend more interactables/consumables and make them more user friendly, but for what mogs it offers, it’s pretty decent.

I usually find ways to acquire enough Travel Points that I get the reward for 1000.

I like that they made it possible to do so in a variety of ways.

Some are current raids & PvP, which I shun because I’m not good at it, but some players do that all the time anyway, and they get loads of Trader’s Tender.

Mhm, the only thing I dislike is that the smaller challenges are often tied to very specific things such as having X rep in an old expansion to get a special item to then do a thing, which a good lot of people likely don’t have.

And speaking of the Trading Post, I just wonder what customizations will they give us. Hopefully it’ll be only abilities and not character ones… would suck to miss those out.

Abilities? From the Trading Post?

I mean glyphs. Like, maybe DHs will finally get fel-green animation of The Hunt.

I just hope they won’t keep adding rewards originally meant to be in Trading Post to the Shop. This is the recent trend and it’s a shame. It seems they need the money badly.

Without wanting to sound like a downer, considering what happened to overwatch 2, worse monetization and scrapping features is a thing that’s gonna hit wow all the same. Especially cause from what a good few people have shared, there’s been another dip in active developers at blizzard due to them being forced to go back into the office, but unable to relocate in order to do so.

So the layoffs will eventually also impact how much side content we get that we can use for rp.
Hopefully won’t mean a increase in mogs on the shop but you never know. I see it as a possibility that named npc armors of famous chars may all end up being paid for content similar to how they are shop items in ff14.

I just want to mention the Treasure Goblin thing, which seems like a nice source for some transmogs and other items.

I don’t see the logic of it lore-wise, but it’s surely not the strangest thing to happen in the Warcraft universe
