Roleplay Question Orc-Elf - Half

Please do not get all defensive, it’s simply quesitons, I’ve been looking into starting to RP someday again, and I’ve always hated RPing as a brute, with that same with Humans, I prefer RPing my casters in the more or less slimmer end of it all, suits both my character and myself out of character, my question, would it be a troll, to RP as a Dracthyr (With their visage form) as an Orc, consider their nose, they have the skin of an Mag’har.

Again please do not get all aggressive over questions, we learn by asking, and I also wonder what’s the community’s reactions, lets say I rped as a Half Breed, on on an Dracthyr with the design of looking like an Mag’har Orc, or the design of simply RPing a half ELF, I’ve seen some weird races lately in RP and many odd stories, but what’s your overall reaction when you see this? do you wanna interact, does it bother you, do you see it as a troll, thanks if you’re taking your time to respond!

In my experience the non lore half races are not accepted. The lore half races are accepted but not by all. Half elf will be easier to rp with the new ear custimization coming and i suppose half Orc/Draenei is accepted.

I’m not sure if I understood your question correctly, but personally I don’t mind RP that doesn’t go against in-game lore.

I’d be fine with someone RP-ing a [race] as a half [race], half [other race], and just play it off as “I take more after my [parent], that’s why I look more like a [race] than a [other race].”

I am rather attached to in-game representation, so I’d have a hard time playing along with, for example a Vulpera warlock RP-ing as a Draenei paladin.
