Generally rogue but the benefit of DK is you can tank and are played in macho popular comps like DK/DH WW/DK in 3’s etc which lets you get away with peanut brain mechanics and being less squishy with a % based heal which goes off damage taken in the last few seconds.
TLDR rogue is more control oriented, DK is more damage oriented.
I could understand if a person was in doubt about Feral vs Rogue, but DK and Rogue?
They are so far from each other gameplay wise that it should be easy to reflect on it for 2sec and figure out which you prefer.
Sounds like you play the game to get invited into as content as possible, and not to have fun 
Might be considered a noob thing to do now a days, but I don’t switch class every patch to the new “meta” because I like the class I play. If needed to, I overcome “not being the meta”, but I guess people just want the easy solution each patch. I MAKE my class work and stick to play what makes the game fun for me, and I always manage to find groups to join.
