Back in the day they hearthstoned players when that patch hit. Now it looks like they cared about moving hearthstone to a safe location, but forgot to hearthstone players to it XD
Honestly the more I think about it, the more I see this as the only way. Roll back, give everyone 3 days of game time to make up for any time wasted levelling or gearing. Run the actual pre-patch event (elemental invasions) and delay cata by 3-4 months. Or cancel it outright and wither work on MoP or give us the opportunity to stay in wrath forever or move to retail.
Made a mage, haven’t enjoyed wow this much in 10 years.
Sure a lot of annoying bugs, but still playable. All fixed in a week or two no biggie.
Huge copium on that one. People on the beta have been reporting some of these bugs for months already.
Nobody wants to stay in WotLK forever and Mop was bad compared to Cata prepatch. Why do I wanna jump straight no hybrid build curse casual retail again named Panda ? Are you a Furry or what?
Cataclysm was insane but Cataclysm Classic is a Trainwreck atm.
They just want to keep their retail players for Pandaria Remix and with that they may wanna stop doing classic and shift it to retail, otherwise there would be a huge influx of retail players in Cata. There was a huge influx that showed interest into Cata even if the Classic Andy won’t believe it.
MoP was great and is often seen as one of the best expansions ever, unlike cata lmao.
Either way I’d honestly rather move my characters to retail at this point. Blizzard clearly doesn’t care enough to give progressive classic resources.
God no… id rather play even BFA than have to do LK 1 more time…
Clearly this release is not acceptable, and they have set a tone for the whole xpac. But… Wotlk should have been over half a year ago.
That wasn’t there to start with. I expect slowly fixes and some bugs even transfering to Cata launch. If they would waste so much recources in SoD and WoW MoP Remix, Cata will get short end of the stick for couple of months.
Believe it or not, I am one of the outliers that actually enjoyed OG Cataclysm. I was really looking forward to the first 2 raid tiers.
I reckon they’ll work overtime to fix this… surely?
Yeah, i’ve not heard any one say servers were offline of broken in THAT way, Just a lot of other bugs.
Game had a patch and reset go out, I log in and my frost nova and frost bolt are still under archeology in professions tab. It would be funny if it weren’t so sad.
Completely agree, only something drastic as a rollback could make up for this.
So rushed, nearly no communication. Almost none of my items I had from even ulduar got saved in Tmog collection even though they did for others while they destroyed them a long time ago.
Now I can’t even enter a tbc hc to collect transmogs because I’m not “at least level 59” on my level 80 paladin.
I’m so close to uninstalling. They should be ashamed of themselves. This is beyond embarrassing for any dev at a somewhat reputable company.
Rollback? Well a lot of us already have progression and work done on alts.
Imagine being silly and paying for a character boost when Blizz was giving them out free inside level 10+ WSG games lol
wonder if they will roll back those…yeah no chance
Cata = CASH GRAB OPPORTUNITY
they have put very little time/money/effort into this
So a few things are not working correctly for a day or 3. Get over yourself. Go out, touch grass.
“A few things” I guess people have different standards for what they tolerate from a AAA company
Congrats, adding to the problem of quality of our free time in video games fading. I will touch some grass, at least it’s free.
no lack of shill’s here
Good.
Since this obviously your first experience of an expansion, I mean, if you have experience others you would know that things are a bit messed up at the start.
And yes, a few things. Minor issues. Nothing big.
I think some timeout to calm you down, touch grass, would do you good.
Yes, my first time. Probably why I’m so frustrated with yet another disappointment, but that’s not the worst part. The worst part was the short notice & lack of communication. Just let us sit in beta for another week or 2 and it would’ve been fine.
But no, instead they fire the devs that are starting to learn or are just understaffed and they pull this on us.
But hey, that’s all good right? We should support it and defend it. At least some rookies will get some experience while being underpaid, if they even hired more people after the lay-offs already.
You just don’t see the bigger picture, do you? Maybe you’re touching a bit too much grass.
I’m collecting more errors and bugs in this post. If you find time, write there. I want to make a big list of all the errors so that it looks clear and is collected in one place.
