Hi!
I’m looking to find people or locations for some non sexual roleplaying. I’m new to wow rp but have been playing it irl for years if that can be of use. Any tips and tricks for someone who just wants to develop a nice, social character and meet others who wants the same? 
Might have to add that I’m currently playing a human warrior on Argent Dawn

I think you could open a thread and write exactly what you wrote here, or you could be very simple and write in trade (to reach as many people as possible), that you are new to roleplay and wish some people to engage with and help you develop your char

Would’ve been better if you posted on AD forums, but here’s some suggestions:
Most of the ERP take part in Goldshire. Avoid there at all costs. Silvermoon’s Bazaar on Horde comes after it on Horde side.
To get into RP, sometimes RP guilds are quite helpful and useful for it ,i suggest finding one which fits your tastes.
The casual hubs on Alliance side are mostly Stormwind, Duskwood, Redridge and sometimes Feralas or Astranaar for night elves.
As for the Character, try to start simple and have room for development (not necessarily required but better to have) and build up your character in Roleplay. You’ll find your taste over time as well.
Usually young Characters (not child) are good for those who are new to Lore and want to learn more about Azeroth. The sense of Adventure can be strong too!
