Ugly times call for ugly measures - so it is written on the poster emblazoned on some corners in Dalaran. It’s an invitation to a public winter’s veil gathering with an apparently special theme: Winter’s ugly veil. As ugly as the times may be, we can be uglier and be exuberant and happy at the same time. Damn you, Lich King, we won’t let you spoil our festivities!
- Put on your ugliest winter veil sweater (disturbingly ugly chest armor of choice) and line up for the fashion show with contest.
- Bring something to eat or drink that’s so gross it’s tasty (or is kitchen art - either in-game items or “emote” food).
- Scrap Grumpus also seems to be planned (Scrap Secret Santa). Everyone knows what this means: find the most useless, ugly gift you wouldn’t wish on your worst enemy - and pray that what you take home isn’t even uglier and more useless (no pets, no “usable/wearable” items! Really SCRAP!)

OOC Information:
- There will certainly be music and poetry. So anyone who wants to make a disparaging contribution (ugly, loud and with wrong lyrics) now has some preparation time.
- The festival will be bilingual, as a basis for the German but also the international community. Do not let this deter you! Use what is possible (languages of the races to “cover” different languages, excuse your expression via “full mouth” or “dialects”. DeepL in the background with copy/paste is a great tool. It did a great job during the Northrend trip. It is never about exact grammar, there is no error quotient with grading at the end of the evening. The important thing is that we somehow understand each other and have fun!
