Yes, we tried to walk to safety, but on our way I fell off a cliff and died from the fall. It was quite embarrassing! I was trying to show off, and everything!

It has been many moons since I last attended (IC Silathin/Sillything has been away due to injury or something yet to be thought of) because RL and classic happened at the same time. I have made a note in my calendar for december to attend. I am happy you still are keeping this alive and I hope to come back soon.

Someone actually mentioned your name to someone, in some context, during the last Moonrise…

Just throw on a Antiseptic Bandage or something similar
I’m sure folks will be lining up to offer healing :grinning:

True, but magical healing should not be squandered on a simple warrior as me. Bandages and the proper herbal dressings and ointments as our ancestors did will do just fine.

Literally every healer I know, would disagree with you on that (your first sentence, I mean) :slightly_smiling_face:

I, and the healers that I consider to be friends of mine, would be honored to offer healing to a brave ally such as yourself.

But of course, if you prefer non-magical healing, I would not press unwanted magic upon you
(unless your injury seemed life-threatening) :innocent:

I believe the first Sunday of the month is upon us again.

(Also the the first of 24 days - and the first of 4 Sundays - until the eve of Winter Veil.

I have heard that some Azerothian cultures celebrate these days and Sundays.)

I hope there will be quite a few peaceful people in the usual(?) place right outside Stormwind, leaving their weapons, and being able to understand members of the opposite faction, should any appear.

Let’s see how many members of Team Truce I can drag to Stormwind this month…

See you there! :beers:
When do we begin?

[OOC: The initial post says nine bell tolls, so I’m assuming that means 9:00pm server time. That’s 11:00pm local time for me on a work night, but I’ll see if I can drop in for a few minutes too.]

Ok, so we handled the event without any Night elf to give us speech. Turned out that I, closest being to a Night elf, should give one. To the person responsible, I’m sending you my tavern check from this night. I was very disturbed by giving speech to so many people unprepared!

It was a nice evening!

The Moonrise is always a joy to participate in, and I’m steadily working on smuggling more and more HotT folks into those events! Big shout out to Raylen, who is actually a great speaker.

Personally I’m very proud of Lara, who managed to reign in his irresistible urge to purge the terrible shadowy abomination very nice Ren’dorei lady. Sometimes the Crusade’s neutrality is such a heavy burden… Especially when your better half is very sensitive to shadow and there’s a source of it standing nearby! Thankfully Lara’s self-control is stronger even than his zealotry. His deep respect for the night elves and their customs certainly helped. :crescent_moon:

That said, next month I’m bringing Tharien. It will be very healthy for my unnaturally tall and pointy-eared dwarf to go spend some time with those he considers his real people–the Kaldorei and the dwarves. For a guy who has a symbol of Elune tattooed on his neck, he’s unnaturally absent from these moon-related activities…

Please, do not let this worgen make more speeches! He might seem friendly, but people scare him!

I also appreciate that there was no purging involved and this nice Void lady left happily and healthily. We exchanged a few words with lara about nature of Light and Void, I hope he get’s a better view of them!

“I hear you were asked to cover the speech at this month’s Moonrise. My apologies, I had been called away on urgent duty. From what I hear, you handled it well. I’ll buy you a drink or two next Moonrise to make up for it.”

It was him or me.

I think we chose well. :stuck_out_tongue_winking_eye:

Marizsa may be full of herself,

(beyond merely referring to herself in third person)

but she is somewhat able to read social settings

(well, actually, that is not her strong suit, but this particular social setting was… a Light read, if you know what I mean?
It filled a void in her social competence.)

I’m sorry I couldn’t be there. RL getting in the way again, but it’ll change for the better soon!
