Every day I go to do my dailies with WM on, as I’ve always played on PvP realms(this was a RP-PVP realm before WM change), but every day, at any time of day, there are so so so many more alliance players than horde. I can see 30 alliance players before I see one hordie, and they run around in big groups killing anyone questing. Even if you are a group they have bigger groups and destroy all hordies… I’m not one to complain and I think dying is a part of WPVP and its your choice to play it, but it seems so unbalanced it’s not even funny. I have alliance characters on this realm and they get a 25% war mode bonus while horde get 10%, I have a feeling that has helped bulk their numbers, but for weeks it’s been so overwhelming. I thought it would get tweaked over time and it would get better but it isn’t and even patient, non-complaining me is getting beyond fed up of it. I don’t know how sharding works but this is not working as I imagine it was intended to. I would love for it to be looked into and changed.
Guess most of the RP people should not have begged for having their own shard with only RP realms on.
So it’s not the same on non-RP realms? It’s okay there?
on non-RP realms the horde usually outnumbers us alliance. Though it does vary from shard to shard.

“When too many players are in an area, the game automatically creates a new shard, a copy of that area. Players entering the area will be placed on the new shard.”
It can feel unbalanced if the shard manager is in the process of adding players to a shard. But player distribution within a zone can make a particular area feel unbalanced too. Especially when LfG groups are actively hunting your faction. Excess players in a region go to single faction overflow shards, Horde on normal WM and Alliance on RP WM.
