Question - Why are Dracthyr not allowed to be pirates?
Weâre not dictating that dracthyrs canât be pirates!
Being a 10.000 year old dragon who is new to the world outside the dragon isles does offer a lot of different paths for its player to take with them. And we are not going to dictate that a dracthyr might not find joy in being a barmaid, an adventurer, a soldier, a baker, a shrubbery-impersonator. The world is their oyster too!
We simply struggle seing that one would join a filthy crew full of struggle, muck and strife. Not to mention their magic wielding, their tremendous power, and the dangerous fire spitting on a ship stocked full with explosives at all times. 
So, when looking at their lore and the general concept of a dracthyr we decided that theyâd probably not enjoy their time with us. (even if weâre lovely!)
We do our best to make sure that everyone who joins the crew do so with a concept that will give them the chance to really enjoy the guild, their character, and not feel excluded or shunned IC, or bound to a lot of limits. A dracthyr would pun intended, struggle to spread their wings aboard our crew.

Weâve had a literally golden start to our new campaign and it continues come Sunday!
A huge welcome and an even greater good luck to the brave souls who have joined our community this week.
We will keep recruitment open a bit longer and we seek sailors and 1 sawbones (medic).
Our newcomers have really sprinkled more lore and meat onto the Black Swans bones than we couldve asked for!

Weâve now got a bubbling religion among the swabs created by our gunners Flickers. The great Yak, he who taketh and giveth.

We have gained a tattoo artist who can take ink and needle to our crew for those event-themed medals weâve got and mark us with them.

An entire new branch called Mystics, who will appraise and handle our mysterious trinkets which we steal. I mean, find.

Not to forget the great community around us at Ravens Flock, who provide amazing roleplay, help out with events and stories and keeps enemies and stories plenty for all of us.

The Black Swan is out on a violent and horrifying adventure in Stormheim but will return to Boralus eventually. If we survive. Sure we do. âŚsure we do.
