RPing in Arathi & Darkshore post BfA

With the Rise of the Red Dawn storyline there was an uptick in people coming to RP in Stromgarde and Hammerfall. A very fun campaign was set up on Argent Dawn dealing with the story line and people seemed to stick around to keep RPing in Stromgarde.

Of course it is a shame that three quarters of Stromgarde get destroyed every other week, but since the lower sections remain untouched, that doesn’t stop most RPers. What does stop most RPers, and has seen many a night’s RP in the city entirely abandoned, is PvPers seizing the opportunity of the uptick in activity to continuously slaughter RPers because they are forced to flag for PvP in the zone.

People’ve tried ignoring them, but they seem to be entertained by slaughtering defenseless targets without end. People’ve tried fighting back, but they also seem to enjoy getting their asses kicked for hours on end. Either option eventually results in no more RP happening there for the rest of the evening.

I have been told that “griefing RPers” is something that can be reported, but I have found no source to back this up. I have met many people saying that they report the behaviour, but when I asked a few of the repeat-offenders if they have ever faced any trouble, the answer was a resounding no.

Of course everyone interested in RPing there finds this entirely undesirable. Asking for Blizzard to turn off PvP in the zone, make inner Stromgarde a Sanctuary, or provide any sort of systemic solution is a pipe dream; so I was wondering if anyone could provide a source for the idea that “repeatedly griefing RPers in a zone where PvP is forced” is deemed worth reporting by Blizzard?

What Blizzard need to do, is to give an update to Arathi Highlands like it is nowadays after Red Dawn.

Let the Warfront phase be only for the Warfront table in BFA (Boralus, Zuldazar).

Now with Midnight coming, they have all the reasons to make this change but we have to raise this problem to them.
Updating zones it’s what we need, not only as RPers but also as players.
Arathi Highlands and Hillsbrad Foothills deserves an update!
