At this point they really need to shift the healing numbers from riptide to healing wave/surge and/or nerf swirling currents. This conduit is way too good. It’s miles ahead of every other resto potency conduit…
They have to rework entire arena, dmg is legit too high.
And also do as much damage as a dps with just one button for an entire minute too

Shamans mana should be tunned down and add more mana cost on purge.

Add more mana cost to Purge, nerf conduit in PvP and buff casted heals (only in PvP) so R Shaman plays like it always did before BFA.
In BFA there was exactly the same problem in S1. Riptide azerite power was broken and then when they nerfed it R Shaman was literally a gimp for the rest of the expansion.
They really need to fix R Shaman gameplay. Stop pushing Chain Heal and buff single target casted heals.
I actually miss mop era rsham gameplay and the skill ceiling was way higher.
Right now if you’re a healbot, you can easily push 2.4 with it, back then you were relying much more on casts to be able to top smb up.
But that’s the issue with healers post legion era. All healers shifted into instant cast heals, and fake casting isn’t even necessary in order play the class to glad nowadays.
I’m not saying that they should nerf resto shaman, but I feel like it’s overdue a redesign. They’ve been the most unfun healer for me to play into by far, regardless of their viability. Whenever they’re good/popular, it makes me consider taking a PvP break. Kinda like I did this season, even if it wasn’t solely over resto shaman.

well eh that’s maybe because people die within 1 global. hf healing that with a 2 sec cast duh
sure move healers toward casting, but then the whole game would have to be changed as well. damage would be way too high.
I would kindly invite everyone who thinks healers are easy to play to please do so and tell me how much fun you’re having healing the kind of dmg that is dealt right now.
Never said this, but most healers have a lower skill ceiling than before the shift into instants

I actually don’t think so. It has been downhill for healers since they started to dumb down dmg rotations. Nowdays you can’t really tell if someone is 1.8 or 2.5 rating by the DMG.
Doing DMG has become easy er every xpac.
They needed to design healers away from casting since ever class has a kick 2-3 stops (stun, incap, Knickback, silance, fear, blind) also bursting as the way to go now anyways.
The healing meta has become harder and harder over the years.
I’ve been playing hpal for nearly 13 years, and it hasn’t gotten any less stressful. Game has shifted from slow family chess to this steroid overloaded chess where you got 1 sec to react otherwise you are just dead.
it’s true, played every healer spec except mw and The strongest healer is resto shaman. the amount of things u can do, the healing output. the way your mana never even drops. 3 mins into my holy priest game I’m already 50% mana. on the shaman I barely check my mana or worry and my player is always topped.
