quests like this, designed mostly to waste your time (by boring traveling here and there) is good enough reason why I and all my Venthyr friends completly ignore the whole Ember Court feature.
I don’t understand why Blizzard spends/wastes expensive resources and time of devs on things like this…

I agree with you that this quest is a pain, however, no items are unique, therefore you can get in one sitting enought of them to invite Droman Aliothe until you are BFF & get the unlimited invitation.
However of all the covenant feature I find Ember court one of the best. It’s pretty fun, it s a bit repetitive but once per week so that’s Ok. There is a real feeling of progression. Biggest downside is how long it is to unlock everything ( well its useless to, but still). I havent skipped a single ember court during the whole 9.0 and I am still not BFF with everyone & I miss some upgrades.
IMO the worst to fully complete is the abomination factory. Overall it wasnt that bad, but there is a freaking currency you get at random from weekly boxes. I get between 10 and 50 per week. You need 750 of them + 30k anima for weapon recolor which is the last thing I need from this activity. I don t have the will to continue the infinite casino grind anymore.
