I love how Blizzard and wowhead alike are silent on the rampant bug issue with people unable to upgrade 1-2 remaining minis due to a missing foil.
If it was “just me” - I’d be concerned with skipping something but so many people, including my RL friends and forum users and wowhead users, and just randos in the /1 and /2… it’s obviously Blizzard’s fault but they can’t even make an announcement that they are working on a fix.
Also… the fix would be incredibly simple if they wanted to - send players a free foil or two on the house - it’s not like they were particularly hard to find or collect in the first place? Instead they are trying to recode thing or something, IDK really but how can this take so long? It’s kinda frustrating - they serve us free achievements on a silver plate and then make them LITERALLY impossible to complete, no matter how skillful you are, because they are terrible coders.
And it’s not the first time this kind of thing happens, is it?
For a “multi dollar company”, I’d expect some better coding.
Sorry to hear this but I find this odd. I have also seen complaints on wowheads about this, but it worked perfectly fine for me. I did it all this morning with dread on this monk thinking the same was going to happen to me. However I managed to get all the toys and foils and successfully upgraded them and got the achievements. I then switch to my horde priest and managed to successfully complete the Orgirmmar one and the final achievements.
If it is bugged out one character are you not able to retry on another toon as all mine have the quest or mail waiting for them but since I have completed it I will just ignore the postbox.
Edit: Spoke to a guildie who says it also bugged out for them too. They did mention they tried to collect all of them at once and then hand them all in and upgrade and that’s when it bugged out. May be where the bug lays.
I completed mine one by one and successfully completed it.
