We don’t wanna see runes just being given without effort. But 99% of the new runes just require you to roam around the world pointlessly instead of being a challenging thing to do with a nice reward at the end.

The fact theyve put a entry point of dispersion that as nothing to do with the player, but if he can afford rogues and mages to do it for him, is a weird design.
Rogues one is being upfront sold on the damn AH.
This isnt discovery, this is just allowing credit card swipers to get rewards even faster.
Depending on the runes it isn’t even worth the hassle for a lot of them.
Nearly every warlock rune requires you to bend over backwards for them and from what I’ve heard about the aoe ability and can deduce from two belt runes 3/6 runes are just trash. 4/6 runes are just boring runes anyway.
So I need to go all over the world, do tons of super dangerous quests or events that require me to nearly be 40 to even stand a chance with them if I can’t get a group together and the reward for it is middling uninteresting “here’s some damage” runes?
I said it in a thread I created before. I think more attention was put towards developing the way you acquire the runes than the actual runes themselves.
Honestly the only stuff I found annoying was Meta rune for warlocks requiring lvl 20+ to get (and thus warlocks aren’t able to tank before that lvl), and rogue tank rune requiring friendly rep with commerce faction (for same reasons, except level may be lower if you dedicate time to do it instead of nornally levelling up).
Other than that I have no issues whatsoever with any rune thus far, even stuff like Deadly Brew.
As for the Dispersion rune, Priests have been sharing the quest for free on my server (Wild Growth). Feel free to ask around when you’re online, you may get lucky (my priest has the quest on the quest log, shared by another priest, and I’ll happily share it too)
the most challenging part of WoW classic was runing and gathering players, everythink else was kinda joke level of difficulty
with that in mind i kinda say that they spot on perfectly hit it with runes difficulty
And thats why everyone always says for people to join a guild and make friends in the game…

The ban of gkdp goes no lengths if blizzards actively going to replace it with runes encouraging gold buying.

Priests disperse litterally depends on both a rogue and a mage helping you out, unless ur advocating to levelling 3 chars to getting it.

I did not have too hard time getting “Art of war” or “Sheath of Light” even if these were quite vast chains.
