[RUNE] Serpent Spread, it's not good enough, change it

Serpent Spread is a very underwhelming rune. Every time you do a multishot it now does 2 ticks of Serpent Sting damage on an enemy. Yknow, the sting damage that scales with SP which Hunter’s don’t (and shouldn’t really) go after? If the functionality has to remain that sting = 3 targets and we can’t just replace this rune with something else entirely then here’s my suggestion for an alteration that actually gives us a brand new experimental way of playing the game.

All your stings will now hit 3 targets AND be 20% more effective. Meaning that Serpent and Wyvern do more damage, Viper drains more mana per tick and Scorpid’s debuff is increased.

HOWEVER, your stings are now on a 3 second cooldown, so you can’t just mash it like crazy.

The only functionality I can think of when it comes to the way current Serpent Spread works is that you don’t have to press Serpent Sting, you can just use Mulitshot, then chimera shot on the primary target to proc it and then reset it to a full sting duration.

That’s the only benefit that this rune really has apart from a very measly additional damage to Multishot.

It’s a boring rune with a boring functionality. SoD was about crazy new things, well give us something crazy then.
