Just wondering if I should always have this up as Frost and if, given the new runeforges and 2h weapon situation going into Shadowlands, this is going to be the go-to for the next xpac too?
It may seem minor, but I really dislike the proc effect for this runeforge, I like the themes of Death Knight so to see what looks like the light envelop my character and two swords float above my toon’s head every few seconds whilst in combat kind of takes it away for me.
Just how I feel. Is there any alternative or is it always going to be the way to go?
Since the class was first introduced rune of the fallen crusader has always been the best performer even for tanks. The only exception is if you are dual wielding which has typically only been for frost. In that case u were always crusader and razorice. There was a brief few weeks at the start of cata when dual wield unholy was better than 2h but it was nerfed pretty fast.
My understanding with shadowlands and frost is you will go crusader if 2h and dual wielding will be crusader+razorice. Hysteria may well be bis for a cheesy all in one breath build but it’s so incredibly boring to play the breath spec and it’s very niche.
