Hi,
I am a level 29 paladin in chromie time. Now i have a quest to do a dungeon. I want to do it with followers, but it says ‘You did not select any valid slots”’.
I am in group finder, DPS roll selected and ilvl 97.
Why cant i run that dungeon with followers?

Sorry I am a new player, trying to enjoy the campaigns. Started with legion (did dragonflight and WWI)

Follower dungeons are only available for the Dragonflight and The War Within Dungeons. they aren’t currently implemented for the older dungeons. You can queue up for a normal run of that dungeon or ask one or more your friends/guildies to help you through it.
If it can wait till tonight I can help you through it if you’d like.

I noticed you are currently a Blood Death Knight, this is tank spec if you didn’t know ?
I assume you didn’t because you say you are looking for a tank in the queue 
Look up tanking on that particular dungeon and queue as a tank it will be a lot faster than 2 hours

This is why WoW need a system similar to Final Fantasy 14’s Leveling Roulette. So that people running through old content, will actually have people to run the dungeons with.
As mentioned above the Follower system is new and doesn’t work on older dungeons yet, hopefully o ne day though.
You can queue for a Normal dungeon as you’ve tried.
You can get a high level character to carry you through the dungeon, level 50+ would be enough.
Or you can wait til you’re ~50 (do quest in the other Legion zones until then). Leave Chromie time, and do it on Heroic solo. Then go back into chromie time to finish off the questing etc. in Legion. Legion mobs are Normally 45 so if you’re around 50 you can solo the dungeons.
