Rushing Jade Wind

Hello I’ve boosted a monk and learning the class atm, seems very fun and interesting compared to the other classes I played if not all of the other classes combined.

I want to ask if you guys ever use Rushing Jade Wind since it’s competitor in the talent tree is Hit Combo which is a huge damage increase. Now I know for sure it won’t be used in PvP because its AOE in the first place but how about mythic plus runs?, I tried adding it to the DPS rotation and the rotation became much funnier than when not added.

I really hope there’s a use out of this talent because otherwise it’s a shame and a complete waste of talent that should have been a base line ability but hey you know how Blizzard is these days, less buttons more fun apparently. Thanks

Nope, it’s never useful for Windwalker. It’s amazing for Brewmaster, but for DPS, just take either of the other two. It’s damage is weak, and as you found yourself, doesn’t fit well into the windwalker playstyle.

Brewmasters and Mistweavers utilize this ability, its really bad for WW’s though.
They used to go for white tiger but now i see they all go for hit combo.

Wind adds up 1 more button in your rotation for sure but hit combo makes your rotation alot more punishing to mistakes

I dont know if they still use xuen for M+ though

For serious content, you wanna run with Combo Strikes.
