Russian Premade

Can any blizzard employee can explain me why we are playing against russian premads all the time in bgs?
Why they are in same battlegroup with regular eu servers?
Ofc they can do premades or what they want but they should play among themselves so we don’t deal with this issue all the time. So best premades wins and I think it will be more fun for us also for them.
You can say it is not rated man, yes, losing or wining random bg is nothing but still it is boring and waste of time. I can understand if this is a free game but I am paying money, why am I suppose to deal with stupid system for 10 years?

I don’t understand why your issue is specific to Russian premades?

I think the Battleground Enemies add-on converts Russian names to English, so maybe use that & imagine you’re playing against an EU premade?

keep paying my 12 lvl 2 posts wow classic friend

The game should translate it automatically in the nameplates floating above the characters, just for the record. The addons only translates them in its own frame, and I don’t know anyone who uses it in 40-man due to its sheer size.

Also, it’s kind of weird that Blizzard allows the cyrillic symbols, but not greek symbols, arabic symbols, so on and so forth.

But a segregation isn’t really the answer, the amount of angry ruskis that would be running wild is easy to predict. However, Blizzard needs to take serious action against anyone doing the queue timing exploit bullsh!t, no matter what language client they’ve got. That, and implementing the language packs into the base game client, would solve a lot of problems in unrated PvP.

Either that, or they need to remove the limit of max 5 people queuing together without needing to use an exploit to do it. But the point is, Blizzard is incompetent and they have been passively allowing people to cheat in unrated PvP since Burning Crusade. People have been doing exploits and using addons (all of the addons for it have been blocked one after another in the API, although Blizzard have taken their sweet time to block each one as they pop up) to bypass the 5-man limit since it was implemented.

I genuinely feel sorry for the casual PvPers who don’t play rated and only stick to unrated BGs. Because you’re paying for an online game that condones cheating.

Gotcha.
I use ElvUI, so have squares where their name should appear.

Removing the 5-man cap &/or adding a solo queue is a good solution. I think their nationality is irrelevant & just an easy target.

…& yes, BG’s do suck for casual unrated players.

Due to the way the exploit works, doing a queue only for solo players would suffer the same problem unfortunately.

Last one blue post in battlegrounds tab was in Apr 11, '19. They don’t care about battle fields any more, so stop crying and do your premade if you think it’s win condition to be in party.

I’m confident a solo-queue would suffer many of the same problems & possibly some new ones (afks, toxicity, ‘Russians’, power disparity).
But I’d have thought by removing the 5-man cap, players wouldn’t feel the need to exploit a solo queue.
Ofc, removing the cap would only ‘work’ if both sides are ~balanced with premades anyway.

But tbh, I’m caring less&less about the problems WoW faces.
Years of reporting concerns & issues & bugs, forced grinds, awful gearing, insta-deaths, neglected specs… all falling on deaf ears.
I don’t think WoW’s worth the frustration, energy or passion that players put into it anymore.

You’re assuming they’re looking for a fair fight. I’d argue they’re looking to win. More honor per hour is their goal, not the “fairness” of it.

If they weren’t looking to win more efficiently, then there’d be no point to doing the queue timing exploit for 40-man BGs after all. Unless you’re gonna claim all 40 players are the bestest of buddies ever and they just want to play together because it makes them happy to spend time together, regardless if they win or lose. Same can be said for 15-man, it’d be pretty simple to do RBGs by splitting up 2 premades into 3 RBG teams, or rotate the extra 5 players each game so that everybody gets their turn to play fairly.

So yeah, it’s all driven by the carrot of rewards from winning.

Oh right, and then there are some of them doing it purely for the HKs, to rank on the global leaderboard (3rd party, Blizzard doesn’t have a leaderboard for it). I don’t think it’s common to do it purely for the HKs anymore though.

https://www.wowprogress.com/char_statistics/field.honor_kills ← that’s on the CHARACTER, not the total for the account. Just for the record. Although it seems like it hasn’t been updated in a while, last update appears to have been in 2021. I think their tracker stays updated on its own though.

The thing probably you couldn’t understand They are not playing with their friends all the time, they are naturally premade; tons of people from same country. They are even uses voice chat instantly. So they don’t even make premades but they have system for every game. For eu premade you need to spend time to do this and ofc no1 do that for random battleground but they naturally do

its not more honor… 45-50 min win gives 700-800 honor
the normal ones everyone plays its 10min 350-400 honor do the math

You’re thinking like it’s a regularly played BG. You see, with the HK farm on top of it, they earn a lot more honor.

Do the math.
