How are we meant to enjoy this game? in PvP when getting matched against full Russian Premades, there is clearly enough of them to be their own matchmaking server, remove them from the EU pool

  1. Queue for AV
  2. Gates Open
  3. See its a full Russian 40 man Premade
  4. 13 People from team leave straight away
  5. Get nuked instantly
  6. Get spawn camped remainder of the game
  7. Optional Step (quit and wait 15 minutes timer, and hope to get a new game without russians, then repeat step 1.)
  8. Come out with 50 honour whilst Russians get 1500+

I’ve played hundred of AV premades in TBC, let me assure you that there were not a single 40 man premade among them, because of how it’s hard to que 8 different groups of 5 ppl at the same time.

u do realize they have only 1 server and if u see 40man same server its rarely actual premade?

Of course not, they just have a Discord and they regroup on it after the BG start.

As for discord, that’s a good idea. Why don’t you use it? Oh yeah, EU players are too lazy to win a little more difficult way.

this is definitely a problem but it isnt as simple as people seem to think it is .

Russian speaking players , not just russian but russian speaking , only have 2 servers so they can communicate easier , this is a good thing .

these 2 servers are pooled into the same battlegroup whereby they can que into EU ( english speaking ) servers but not with them , again for the language barrier . also a good thing .

what this leads to is a small pool of players being able to form what is in effect a 40 man pre made for AV , this isnt a pre made in the old sense of how we see it with grouping up beforehand and guaranteeing u all qued together . it is a pre made in sense that these players are pretty much guaranteed to be in the same BG by default due to the low pool of servers available .

it would be ignorant to think that 40 people from the same server consistently queing together doesnt give them a psuedo pre made . a lot of players know each other , have guild discord , server discords , have formed bonds with each other etc etc . add to that the fact that if u simply que at the same time you have a 90% + chance of all being put into the same BG then you end up with what is in effect a 40 man pre made every BG .

these players arent making a 40 man group and queing up or circumventing the system in any way ,they are just playing the game how we all play it using social networks like discord etc but due to an oversight on blizzards part they gain a massive advantage .

the easiest and best solution in my humble opinion is to allow russian speaking realms to be merged into english speaking realms for BGs only , most people wont be affected by the language barrier and truth be told most people dont even read the BG chat .

this would do 2 things , it would shorten the ques for these russian speaking realms massively ( which is big reason they want to squeeze as much honor as they can from each BG ) and it wouldnt feel like AV is an auto loss for any english speaking players , win win imo .

now there are counter arguments to this such as most english speaking realms just rush the boss , wont take a fight and just want a quick honour gain from smashing drek , this is true , but the days of 2 day long AVs are long gone and it is seen by most people as a fast way to grab some honour gear , this is just the way AV is played nowadays and it will not change .

however from reading these forums , due to the current world situation i believe its also prudent to just leave things as they are , there would be so much hate and arguments fostered from just the realms people play on it would be insane , we can just ban those people though .

TLDR : allow russian speaking realms to play with english speaking realms for BGs only ,
dont hate the player hate the game :stuck_out_tongue:

That’s part of the problem yeah and the BG is unplayable for the remaining players, good or bad.

Btw Russians speaking players could try to fast win cause there is no opposition but no you choose to be despicable and obnoxious with those remaining players by forcing them to stay in this never-ending bg…

In short, yes all EU players deeply hate your play style and just don’t want to play with you while you’re not making any effort to be likeable, quite the opposite.

Solution for Blizzard, mix Russian speaking players with EU players or put them away. Period.

tell me what rules says that alterac plays like this “40 people peacefully run past a friend of a friend and run to the enemy base, the team that zerganizes the boss faster will win. The one who attacked the representatives of the squad must be publicly discovered and sent to the reservation” .

its very obvious to me that the russians have an av discord, and when they queue and enter av a lot of them just spam “channel 1 av” or something, and they end up effectively as a premade.
only solution is to exile them to their own battlegroup or link them with the chinese instead, but nobody at blizz cares about our problems or their exploits

Only in retail, coz with eu crybabies its impossible to win ebgs. We do not need any discords for classic, coz in team only people from 1 ru-speaking server.

In current state you don’t even need the Discord. The tactics for russian is the same for last 2 years and even new players may learn it in few BGs. It’s basically a Groundhog Day time loop, every BG has same outcome like if I’m not playing against real people who posses a freedom of will, but rather against bunch of NPS in dungeon in a scripted event.
I did an experement and several times asked to be promoted as RL in complete PUG raid, and all I did is simple calls for help and attack orders, and you may be suprised - people reacted to them willingly.

its a cultural thing…russians are like that in every game…notoriously AWFULL at it playing in the most ineficient way possible…btu since there are tons of them they get to grief everyone and makign it terrible, even for themselvs(sicne their honor/hour is a thirdd or a fourth of ours due to their inbred tactics that are 20 years old…)
