Unfortunately for you, Russian players occupy the top top in the arena seasons

Heh I’ve only faced one russian team in high rated arenas and after we kinda obliterated them they started to dodge us 
For what I’ve learned is that russian people can only do semi well when theyre stream sniping to counter people, I mean its of course allowed, but a bit sad though, best wishes to them.

Replies from the russian rogue just confirm that for russians winning or being better is greater everything else. Can’t really relate to be proud that my own country is the very best in a video game nor would I care.
So I guess everyone found the answer to why they play with that strat.
For me personally I don’t care if I win or lose. Can’t always be on the winner side.

Perhaps a bit easy to criticize when you are viewing the situation always from a premade group perspective. You try solo queue once and see how easy it is to organize randoms who want to do whatever they want to do in a BG. Tip: It’s not what you want to do in there.

Some corrections, during vanilla running into a Rusky BG grp was ideal as that was the only time Alliance wins.
TBC hits, we no longer fight for objectives, just “Drek or kek”. While Russians still do it the Vanilla way. Honestly… 30-35 min BG aint worth what you are getting from the kills and you are losing overall honor (By a lot), but that’s your thing and its fine.
EU players are like complete idiots. You tell them “Russian grp, fight them, don’t try to go around”. Does it work ? Nope. People still try to slip by. Then people qq for 30 mins during the game.
I cant speak for everyone, but most of the Russian players that iv seen in AV have been horrible players. But they stay together and fight as a team. Ofc they win.
Stop trying to go around Ruskies in AV, they wont let you, fight and win. Yes, its gonna take 30 mins, but at least you get something out of it. Otherwise its 30 mins of them farming us.
p.s. Also the “We don’t all speak the same language” is bs too. Many afk, and most of what is left play for themselves. We can avoid fighting vs other EU grps, but not vs Russian ones. Once we accept this fact we will start winning again, instead of losing every time.
I guess a small edit: Not bragging, as I dont do BGs super srs anymore. But iv never been in a BG pug where iv lost to a Russian pug that was not AV, ever. Again, not a brag, just kind of validates that EU players dont want to play AV in a way where we will win, as I run into a Russian grp once every 10+ games. So its not worth changing the strat but I would love it if people actually put in the effort. Since its crappy Honor any which way, we might as well win and feel good.
I cant really say for outside of AV weekend as I don’t do it then. But your observations are very inaccurate.
This is my BG history from the last idk… 15 AVs ? (Yes, I have been very lucky and won most). As you can see the difference from win/loss is not really impactful as long as towers and cap are taken.
As well, you can see the average game is about 8-10 mins, for aprox 400 honor (Or more probably).

Russians don’t realise that if EU will use exactly the same tactic AV will take much longer and both sides will have low honor/hr ratio, so dear Russians better be grateful that EU prefers to /afk.
